And that\u200d appears \u2064good for \u2063former President Donald Trump, but not President\u2063 Joe\u2064 Biden.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>As sticky inflation holds and \u200dprices on \u200bgrocery shelves and\u200c at the pump rise, voters are recalling how good they had it before \u201cBidenomics.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>Rasmussen\u200b Reports Survey Insights<\/h3>\n<p>In the \u200clatest \u2062Rasmussen Reports survey of \u200bvoters, many feel that Bidenomics has <strong>\u201churt\u201d<\/strong> them while Trump\u2019s policies nudged them higher.<\/p>\n<p>The survey, \u200bcomposed\u2063 of 35% Democrats,\u2063 33% Republicans, and 32% independents,\u2064 found that most, by \u2064a 48%-37% margin, believed that Biden\u2019s economic policies are <strong>\u201cworse\u201d<\/strong> than \u200dTrump\u2019s. \u2062On that\u2064 question, 26% of\u200d Democrats and 36% of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/usa-today-other-newspapers-drop-dilbert-over-creator-scott-adams-racially-charged-comments\/\" title=\"USA Today, Other Newspapers Drop \u2018Dilbert\u2019 Over Creator Scott Adams\u2019 Racially Charged Comments\">black people agreed<\/a>\u200c that Biden\u2019s are worse.<\/p>\n<h3>Are You Better Off\u2064 Today?<\/h3>\n<p>Even more voters overall, 49%, said Bidenomics has <strong>\u201churt\u201d<\/strong> them personally, while\u2064 just 28% said it has\u200b <strong>\u201chelped\u201d<\/strong> them. Another 21% shrugged no\u2064 difference. Here, \u200d41% of black people feel Biden has hurt them, \u2064and 26% of Democrats agreed.<\/p>\n<p>In a\u200d follow-up question, voters were asked about Trump\u2019s economic policies and if they\u2063 recall whether they helped or hurt them, a version of\u2062 the 1980 question from challenger Ronald Reagan about whether voters felt better off \u200bafter four years of former President\u2062 Jimmy Carter\u2019s economic policies.<\/p>\n<p>The news was not \u2063good for Biden, as he struggles to talk up Bidenomics and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/federal-deficit-to-double-to-2-trillion-even-as-biden-boasts-deficit-cutting\/\" title=\"Biden boasts deficit-cutting, but federal deficit set to double to  trillion.\">record government spending<\/a>, especially on unions and forgiving\u200b student loans.<\/p>\n<p>On that question, 46% of voters said Trump\u2019s economic policies <strong>\u201chelped,\u201d<\/strong> 34% said <strong>\u201churt,\u201d<\/strong> and 18% shrugged. Black voters here gave a bigger thumbs-up to Trump, with 43% saying <strong>\u201chelped\u201d<\/strong> and 32% \u2064saying <strong>\u201churt.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Trump campaign feels confident that black, Hispanic, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/gary-franks-black-americans-must-stop-voting-dem-by-default-to-see-change-in-this-country\/\" title=\"Gary Franks: Black Americans Must Stop Voting Dem by Default to See Change in This Country\">suburban women voters<\/a> will recall the economy\u2064 was somewhat better\u2063 under the former president, especially pre-COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Biden\u2019s\u200b team is\u200c stepping\u2064 up its effort to address the economy and claim people \u200chave never had it better, which Rasmussen\u2019s survey would appear to challenge.<\/p>\n<h3>SEE THE LATEST POLITICAL NEWS AND BUZZ FROM\u200b WASHINGTON\u200c SECRETS<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Voters have vivid recollections of their financial well-being, benefiting Trump over Biden.
