This much: \u200bThey\u2019re still so committed \u2062to an open border that they\u2019re now trying to stop the state \u2064of Texas from actually enforcing the border.<\/p>\n<p>The state of Texas tried to erect \u200cbarbed wire fencing in the middle of Shelby \u200cPark, a Texas state park, to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-strip-gop-amendments-in-passing-budget-resolution\/\" title=\"Democrats Strip GOP Amendments in Passing Budget Resolution\">prevent illegal immigrants<\/a> from simply rushing\u2062 over and\u2063 into the interior \u2063of \u200dthe United States. The White House then ordered Border Patrol \u2064to take down some of\u2063 that fencing.\u2064 The White House has also attempted to sue the state of \u2063Texas to stop the \u2062state from passing a\u200d law that would criminalize illegal entry into Texas, a law which would allow the state to\u2064 arrest and then presumably attempt to deport illegal immigrants.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration basically said, \u201cNo. Only <i>we<\/i> have the prerogative when\u2062 it comes to enforcing border law. And we\u2064 have chosen\u200d not to enforce border law, which means <i>you<\/i> \u2064cannot enforce border law,\u201d which is an absurd contention.\u200d The entire purpose of the federal government is to enforce things like the border. If they won\u2019t do it, then states probably do have the \u200dsovereign ability to actually enforce \u2064the border.<\/p>\n<h3>Legal\u200d Showdown Before the Supreme\u2062 Court<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>The Supreme Court allowed Texas to begin \u200carresting and deporting noncitizens on its own\u2014only \u200bfor another \u200ccourt to\u2062 step in hours later\u2062 and\u200c block any such state efforts for now.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>The\u2062 rapidly shifting landscape comes thanks to \u2064a legal showdown between Texas \u200cand the Biden administration, which argues that states can\u2019t interfere with federal authority\u2063 over the border.<\/i><\/p>\n<p><i>In \u2062the afternoon, the Supreme Court declined to block a\u2064 Texas law known as SB\u200c 4, which <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/aclu-sues-over-texas-law-allowing-state-officials-to-arrest-illegal-immigrants\/\" title=\"ACLU sues Texas over law enabling officials to arrest undocumented immigrants\">makes illegal border crossing<\/a> \u2064a \u2062state crime and allows state officials to conduct arrests\u2062 and deportations. The measure had been \u2062on hold\u200b as the high court weighed \u200cthe federal government\u2019s request to halt implementation during ongoing litigation. \u200dA federal district judge had \u2064enjoined the law after \u200dit \u2063was challenged by the Biden administration and\u200b immigrant-rights groups, but\u200b the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in New Orleans, issued a temporary \u2064order that \u200dallowed\u200b SB 4 to go into\u2062 effect.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The decision\u200b will probably \u2064be remanded back to the appellate court, and then \u2064it will come back to the Supreme Court in \u200canother \u200cform.<\/p>\n<h3>The Mexican Perspective<\/h3>\n<p>The country of Mexico immediately said they won\u2019t even\u200d accept\u200d any sort of \u200bdeportees from Texas; if you try to ship\u2063 them back into Mexico, they would not accept them. They would only \u2062accept them\u2063 from the federal \u200cgovernment.<\/p>\n<p>That shows you how hand-in-glove the \u200bBiden administration is working with the Mexican government.<\/p>\n<p>Remember, Donald Trump had negotiated a Remain in Mexico policy with the Mexican \u200bgovernment that said if you tried to cross the American\u200d border \u2062and you were \u2063captured \u200bor you applied \u200bfor asylum, you had to \u2063wait in Mexico to hear whether a court would allow you into the country\u2063 or not. You could not be\u2063 released simply into the United States\u200c and then never show up \u2063for a court date again.<\/p>\n<p>Joe\u200c Biden\u200d walked that back.<\/p>\n<p>The Mexican government,\u2063 of course, prefers\u2062 to\u200c work with Biden rather than the state of Texas. The government of Mexico put out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gob.mx\/sre\/prensa\/mexico-condemns-the-entry-into-force-of-anti-immigrant-law-sb4-in-texas?idiom=en#:~:text=On%20behalf%20of%20the%20Government,rights%20of%20the%20migrant%20community.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a statement<\/span><\/a>  saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>On behalf of the Government of Mexico, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemns the entry into\u2064 force of Texas law SB4, which \u2064seeks to stop the flow of\u2064 migrants\u2062 by criminalizing them, and encouraging the separation of families, discrimination\u200c and racial profiling that violate the human rights of the migrant community.<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I didn\u2019t \u2062realize\u2064 there was such a \u2062thing as \u201cthe migrant community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spoiler alert: There isn\u2019t. It \u200bturns out the \u200cmigrants\u2062 come from over 100 countries all around the globe. They don\u2019t constitute their own community.<\/p>\n<p>The state of Texas, which\u200d is heavily\u2063 Hispanic, is not\u2064 simply going after Hispanic people. They\u2019re going after <i>anyone who is there illegally.<\/i><\/p>\n<p>Mexico is saying if a Chinese national crosses \u200dall the way through Mexican territory and then goes\u2064 into the United States and the state \u200dof \u200dTexas,\u2063 and \u200dyou arrest that person and try to deport them back to Mexico, Mexico will refuse and say, \u201cWe have to protect our border from the \u2064American \u200binvasion from the North.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It is the Biden administration that has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/democrats-promise-agreement-on-large-scale-spending-plan\/\" title=\"Democrats promise agreement on large scale spending plan\">announced multiple times<\/a> that it will not take executive action to\u2062 do anything about the border.<\/p>\n<p>And that issue is going to continue to\u200d be an albatross around the neck of the Biden campaign.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Biden administration&#8217;s dedication to an open border is evident in their attempt to halt Texas from enforcing border security.
