But what influences these groups? Their\u200d members are not inherently malevolent.\u2064 Instead, they’re often \u200bshaped by compelling propaganda. Social contagion flourishes when individuals are shunned for challenging the prevailing narrative, leading to widespread ignorance and\u2062 manipulation by elites with an\u200b inflated sense of rightness.<\/p>\n

Those who endeavour to sever familial ties and suppress open dialogue employ a strategy termed predatory alienation<\/a><\/a>.
