Nancy Mace (R-SC), \u200dStephanopoulos suggested a contradiction in Mace&#8217;s \u200bcontinued support for \u2064Trump, referencing past\u2063 legal findings. &#8220;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Judges and two separate juries\u2062 have found him liable for rape\u2064 and for defaming the victim of that rape.\u2064 How do you square your endorsement of Donald Trump with the \u2064testimony we just saw?&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p> \u200dThis statement has \u200bbecome the crux of Trump&#8217;s defamation claim.<\/p>\n<p>In a detailed 20-page <a href=\"https:\/\/storage.courtlistener.com\/recap\/gov.uscourts.flsd.664183\/gov.uscourts.flsd.664183.1.0.pdf\">complaint<\/a>, Trump\u2019s legal counsel \u200balleges that Stephanopoulos knowingly attacked Trump&#8217;s reputation with false \u2062claims, asserting \u200dthat Stephanopoulos was aware of the actual\u2064 jury outcomes yet deliberately \u200cmisrepresented them \u2064on\u200b television.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200clawsuit does not specify a dollar amount, but Trump is seeking damages for the alleged harm done \u2064to his reputation.<\/p>\n<h3>Rep.
