The discussion centered around the issue of Biden&#8217;s foggy memory.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff accused \u2062Hur \u200bof injecting\u2063 his &#8220;personal,\u200d prejudicial, subjective opinion&#8221; into the report,\u200d which\u2063 described\u2062 Biden as an \u200belderly man with a poor memory.\u200b Schiff argued that political rivals could exploit this characterization during an \u2062election season.<\/p>\n<p>Hur, however, redirected the conversation back to\u2063 Schiff&#8217;s comments about the investigation \u200binto Biden and leveled his \u200cown accusation at the \u200bcongressman.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepAdamSchiff?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepAdamSchiff<\/a>: \u2062&#8221;You made a choice. That was a \u200cpolitical \u200cchoice.\u2062 It\u200d was the wrong choice.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Former Special Counsel\u2062 Hur: &#8220;What you are\u200d suggesting is that I shape, sanitize, omit \u200dportions of my reasoning and explanation to the Attorney \u2063General for political \u200creasons\u2013&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yV1h9tdkps\">pic.twitter.com\/yV1h9tdkps<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2064 CSPAN \u200c(@cspan) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cspan\/status\/1767584783599641052?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 12, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;What you \u2062are suggesting is that I needed to provide a different version of\u2064 my report that would \u200dbe fit for public\u2062 release. That is nowhere in the rules. I \u2064was to prepare a \u200cconfidential report \u2062that was comprehensive and thorough,&#8221; \u200bHur firmly stated.<\/p>\n<p>Schiff argued that the rules required\u200c Hur not to &#8220;gratuitously do things to prejudice\u200d the subject of an investigation when you are declining to prosecute.&#8221; He claimed that Hur&#8217;s language in\u2064 the report could be \u2062used for political purposes.<\/p>\n<p>In response, Hur reiterated, &#8220;What you are suggesting is that I shape, \u200bsanitize, omit\u2062 portions of \u200dmy reasoning\u2064 and explanation to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/breaking-ag-barr-authorizes-federal-prosecutors-to-pursue-substantial-allegations-of-voting-irregularities-before-2020-election-is-certified\/\" title=\"BREAKING: AG Barr Authorizes Federal Prosecutors to Pursue \"Substantial Allegations\" of Voting Irregularities Before 2020 Election is Certified\">attorney general<\/a> for political reasons \u2014 &#8220;<\/p>\n<p>Schiff\u200c interrupted\u2062 and asserted, &#8220;No, I suggested that you not shape your\u2063 political report for political reasons,\u200c which is \u2063what you did.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>With Schiff&#8217;s time running out, \u2064Hur \u200dhad one \u2064final opportunity to\u200b respond: &#8220;That \u2063did not\u200b happen.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?c5109900\/user-clip-adam-schiff-accuses-robert-hur-anti-biden-bias\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Earlier in the exchange<\/a>, Hur clarified\u2063 that regulations required him to write a confidential report explaining his decision-making to Attorney General\u200c Merrick Garland. However, it was ultimately Garland&#8217;s decision on\u200b how much of the report to release to \u200cthe public.<\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" aria-describedby=\"sk-tooltip-9096\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1710096758317000&#038;usg=AOvVaw3iaq6q-Qs351snTwJA_ODg\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILYWIRE+ APP<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Schiff, who is currently running for Senate, previously served\u200d as\u2064 the top Democrat on the \u2062House Intelligence Committee. However, he\u200d was\u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/mccarthy-formally-kicks-schiff-and-swalwell-from-house-intel-integrity-matters-more\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">removed<\/a> from the panel by then-Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) \u200ddue to accusations of repeated lying, particularly\u200b in investigations related\u200c to \u200dTrump.<\/p>\n<p>The GOP-led House later voted to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/house-votes-to-censure-adam-schiff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">censure<\/a> Schiff over allegations of abusing his access\u200d to sensitive \u2063information and misleading \u200cthe American people. Schiff dismissed the censure\u2062 resolution as a &#8220;sham&#8221; and proudly embraced it as a &#8220;badge of honor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Schiff expressed his\u2062 hope \u2063that the U.S. intelligence community\u200b would <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/schiff-hopes-intel-officials-dumb-down-trump-briefings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;dumb down&#8221;<\/a> \u2062 briefings for Trump if\u200c he secures the GOP nomination for a \u2062possible 2020 rematch against \u2064Biden in\u200d the upcoming election.<\/p>\n<p> Ing out, \u2063Hur concluded, \u200b&#8221;I respectfully \u200ddisagree. I did my job, and I did it with the utmost integrity and professionalism.<\/p>\n<h2> Can Ing&#8217;s claim of having done their job with integrity be objectively \u200bassessed within the context of the PAA<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Assessing Ing&#8217;s claim\u2064 of having done\u2064 their job with integrity within the context of\u2062 the PAA (Presidential Accountability Act) would require an examination \u2063of their\u200c actions\u200c and whether\u2064 they align with the \u200dprinciples outlined in \u200bthe PAA. <\/p>\n<p>The PAA sets\u200b certain standards and expectations for public officials, including honesty, transparency, lack of conflicts of interest, \u2064and adherence to ethical \u2062guidelines. To assess Ing&#8217;s claim, one would need to evaluate whether\u2062 they have demonstrated these qualities in their job performance.<\/p>\n<p>Objective assessment \u200dcan involve examining objective facts, such as whether Ing has been involved in any proven cases of corruption or unethical behavior. It would also involve considering any conflicts of interest or ethical violations \u2064that may arise \u2064from \u200ctheir actions in relation to their\u2064 job responsibilities.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, it may be helpful to review Ing&#8217;s track record, \u2064such as the consistency of their actions with the values and principles of the PAA. Other factors that could \u2063be considered include Ing&#8217;s adherence to \u200dlegal requirements, accountability,\u2062 responsiveness, and commitment to the public&#8217;s interest.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/rep-peter-meijer-pelosi-doesnt-want-official-jan-6-commission\/\" title=\"Rep.
