A few months later, the Jan. 6\u2062 committee’s star witness, Cassidy Hutchinson, who had worked for Meadows, publicly testified<\/a> that Ornato had informed \u200cher that President \u2063Trump had attempted to forcefully take control\u200b of the presidential\u200c limousine and drive himself to the Capitol\u2063 during the riot. However, immediately after Hutchinson’s\u200c dramatic appearance, Ornato stated that he was prepared to testify under\u2062 oath that nothing Hutchinson described had ever occurred.
