However, they \u200dusually \u2063keep \u200dit hidden, often compensating by championing documentaries about Holocaust \u2063survivors and elderly Jews in nursing homes to \u2064demonstrate \u2064a semblance of empathy.<\/p>\n<p>But what about anti-Semitism? \u200dIt has occurred, albeit\u2063 infrequently.\u2064 One infamous incident took place almost half a century ago when Vanessa Redgrave, upon receiving her Academy Award, made a repugnant reference \u200bto &#8220;Zionist hoodlums.&#8221; She was incensed by \u2062the protests \u200bagainst her\u200b support for the Palestine Liberation Organization. She is\u200c merely a \u2063classic \u2062example of a Gentile\u200b anti-Semite \u2013 an \u200dupper middle-class British \u2062individual\u2063 who, \u200cinstead of obsessing over\u200c small yappy dogs like her counterparts, became infatuated with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/kristen-clarke-bigot-and-liar\/\" title=\"Kristen Clarke, Bigot and Liar\">radical politics<\/a> under the influence of Bertrand Russell.<\/p>\n<p>Fast forward to March 10, 2024, when\u200d the Oscars witnessed a\u200b display of ignorance and talent \u2062from \u200bthe likes \u2064of Billie \u2063Eilish. Eilish, who seems unsure of her sexual orientation, dietary preferences, and sings as\u200b if she&#8217;s reliant on an oxygen \u200btank, attended the Oscars adorned with\u200c buttons \u200cadvocating\u2062 for a &#8220;ceasefire&#8221; in a region she\u2062 probably couldn&#8217;t locate on \u2063a map. The design of these buttons deliberately evoked the image of \u2062a Palestinian terrorist who proudly displayed his blood-soaked\u2064 hands after brutally murdering two Israeli teenagers in Ramallah twenty-five years prior.<\/p>\n<p>Shockingly, numerous individuals proudly wore these\u200c buttons, \u2062essentially celebrating\u2062 the slaughter of two\u200c Jewish\u2064 teenagers. Congratulations to these morally\u2063 bankrupt buffoons who\u2062 can&#8217;t\u2062 spare \u200cfive seconds\u2064 to research the\u200b devices they use to perpetuate their &#8220;social&#8221; existence. They now bear the figurative bloodstains of their actions. Are they happy?<\/p>\n<h3>The Category of &#8220;Self-Hating Jewish Anti-Semitism&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>Returning to the category I \u200dinitially mentioned, &#8220;self-hating Jewish anti-Semitism,&#8221; it\u200c provided the only memorable moment at the Oscars after the \u2063British-Jewish\u2064 filmmaker Jonathan Glazer won the International Feature award for his movie, <i>The Zone \u200bof Interest<\/i>. Set adjacent to Auschwitz, the film supposedly\u200c conveys \u200dthe horrors of the Holocaust through the sounds that traverse the wall\u200d between the \u2062commandant&#8217;s \u2064house and \u2062the death\u200d camp.<\/p>\n<p>Some might argue\u200c that Glazer&#8217;s victory was the Oscars&#8217; way of playing the Holocaust card in 2024, and boy, did\u200b Glazer play it. Standing alongside\u2064 his two producers, including a Russian oligarch named\u2063 Len Blavatnik, Glazer\u2064 visibly trembled with what \u2064appeared to be terror as he unfolded a piece of paper\u2064 and read aloud:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Our film shows where dehumanization leads, at its worst. It\u2063 shaped all of our\u2063 past \u200dand present. Right now,\u200c we stand here as \u2063men who refute \u2062their Jewishness and the Holocaust being hijacked \u2064by an \u200boccupation, which has led to conflict \u200dfor so many \u200dinnocent people. Whether the victims of October the 7th in Israel or the ongoing attack on Gaza, all the victims of this dehumanization, how \u2062do we resist?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>We can spend a \u200dfew seconds dissecting the meaning of this poorly\u2064 constructed statement, or until the next \u200banti-Semitic attack occurs as \u200ba direct\u200c consequence of October 7th \u2013 whichever \u2064comes \u2062first (and\u200b we can guess which will come first). Regardless, it is undeniably repugnant.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s take it literally for a moment. If Glazer\u200b and his producers truly &#8220;refute their Jewishness,&#8221; it is deeply troubling. They are rejecting their\u200c Jewish identity while \u2064accepting an award for a film that delves into \u200dthe systematic \u2062destruction of Jewish \u200bexistence. Anti-Semites are eagerly rushing to \u2062defend Glazer against accusations of &#8220;refuting\u200d his \u2064Jewishness.&#8221; Instead, they argue that he\u2062 is refuting the notion that Jewishness\u2064 justifies Israeli actions\u2064 after October 7th \u200dor\u2062 the so-called &#8220;occupation&#8221; \u2013 whatever convoluted reasoning these \u200dself-satisfied individuals concoct as\u2062 the &#8220;root cause&#8221; of their \u2063disapproval.<\/p>\n<p>Glazer&#8217;s\u200d defenders include\u200d notable \u200cfigures such as Matt\u200c Duss, a former Bernie Sanders aide who was photographed in a\u200b Hamas tunnel, Mehdi Hasan, a recently ousted\u200b MSNBC host\u200c and\u200c Hamas apologist, Waleed Shahid,\u2062 a\u200d Democratic strategist, and Chris Hayes of \u200cMSNBC. Hayes, a former radical magazine journalist turned \u200ccharismatic TV personality, despises \u2063Israel\u200b almost as much as he adores his $5 million salary paid by the Jewish-owned \u2064Comcast. Chris,\u200b it&#8217;s blood money! Give it back! Otherwise, it\u2064 might\u200d fall into \u200dthe hands of the &#8220;occupiers&#8221;!<\/p>\n<p>Hayes should know better than to involve himself in\u200c this debate. He should refrain from opining on\u200b what constitutes anti-Semitism, especially after hosting Al Sharpton on his show \u200cfor years. Sharpton, who has contributed \u2064to the refutation of Jewish existence, once incited people \u200dto rally against \u2064a business in Harlem, resulting in a fire that claimed seven lives. Sharpton continued to evade accountability, terrorizing Democratic politicians and devouring\u2064 their \u2064souls instead of the\u200c fatty foods that\u200c once defined\u200d his\u2062 rotund figure.<\/p>\n<p>Glazer, \u2062you \u200dcan refute your Jewishness all\u200c you want, but\u2062 if a terrorist were to target\u200d a \u200bsynagogue in Golders\u200b Green \u2064where your nephew was celebrating his bar mitzvah, you \u2064would be just as dead as if you hadn&#8217;t &#8220;refuted&#8221; it. The\u200c problem is that they want to\u200b kill Jews, and you\u2063 are a Jew. Your refutation is inconsequential.<\/p>\n<p>The issue\u200b at hand \u200dis not whether Glazer is comfortable with his \u2064Jewish identity, but rather the fact that he lives \u200ba life fraught with existential danger after October 7th because of it. How can we comprehend the miraculous fact\u2062 that\u200c not only has this tribe endured, but\u2063 it has also reclaimed its homeland and\u200b transformed a barren \u200bdesert into the 27th wealthiest\u2063 nation on Earth?<\/p>\n<p>Yet,\u200b Jonathan Glazer \u200dseems to \u2062have an issue with\u2063 that country.\u2064 Apparently,\u200d he \u2062views it \u200das an &#8220;occupier&#8221; that &#8220;dehumanizes&#8221; \u200dothers, much like the Nazis dehumanized the Jews. Let&#8217;s disregard the fact that Israel hasn&#8217;t &#8220;occupied&#8221; \u2064Gaza since 2005\u200c and that its \u200ccurrent actions are\u2063 not an &#8220;occupation&#8221; but rather a war against the \u200cHamas\u2063 terrorist organization. It&#8217;s \u2062not &#8220;dehumanizing.&#8221; It&#8217;s\u2064 something else entirely. It&#8217;s \u200cno more dehumanizing than the destruction\u2063 of Germany to eradicate the \u200dNazis \u2063\u2013 a concept that Glazer presumably\u2063 supports,\u200c as without it, \u2062he wouldn&#8217;t have the Oscar he can metaphorically shove up his backside for eternity.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, it&#8217;s great \u200cthat <i>Oppenheimer<\/i> won, even though the real \u200bOppenheimer was a Communist.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> How\u200d does self-hating Jewish\u2063 anti-Semitism perpetuate harmful stereotypes and undermine Jewish \u200cpride and unity?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Ves.
