Representatives\u200d who\u2064 lost\u2063 to newcomer Garvey included Katie Porter (D-Calif.), Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), and Eric Early (R-Calif.).<\/p>\n<p>The seat that Garvey and Schiff are\u2064 running for was\u200c previously held\u200c by the \u200blate Dianne\u200b Feinstein\u2063 (D-Calif.) for three decades.
