Democrats engage in this kind of projection constantly, taking an extreme position and then decrying any dissent or resistance to it as\u2064 extremist.<\/p>\n<p>In the Colorado case, two well-funded leftist groups with anodyne names \u2014 Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in \u200dWashington, and Free Speech for People \u2014 waged\u200d a lawfare campaign with a far-fetched reading of the \u200b14th Amendment\u2019s \u201cinsurrection clause,\u201d managing to get Colorado\u2019s Democrat-dominated Supreme Court to rule in December that Trump\u200b is ineligible to appear on the ballot. The plan \u200dwas to do this in numerous states, foreclosing the possibility of Trump\u2019s reelection.<\/p>\n<p>From the outset, it should \u2062have been obvious that\u200d the legal argument \u2064was bogus, a cynical and clumsy ploy to prop up President \u200dBiden\u2019s reelection bid by robbing voters of the chance to cast ballots for Trump. It\u2019s hard to imagine anything getting a unanimous ruling on our deeply divided Supreme Court,\u200d but these bozos managed to do it \u2014 and in the process embarrassed the many corporate\u200b media commentators who twisted themselves into pretzels arguing that the Colorado case was strong.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1a992d4aa37f799ae7df580af909e3bf fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1a992d4aa37f799ae7df580af909e3bf\"><\/div>\n<p>But if we step back a bit and consider all this in the context of nearly every other scheme\u2064 Democrats have hatched in recent years, it\u2019s possible to see why they thought it was worth a shot. Time and again,\u200c Democrats\u2064 take unprecedented steps and trample every conceivable norm to advance their agenda, and when anyone objects, they label them an extremist or insurrectionist or Christian nationalist (whatever that means). They project \u200bonto their opponents, and\u200d especially onto Trump,\u200c the very things they are\u200b actively engaged in doing.<\/p>\n<p>An\u200b obvious example of this is when Democrats warn\u2063 that if Trump is reelected, he\u2019ll use the Department of Justice and the FBI \u200bto go after his political rivals. Oh really? This is exactly what\u2063 the Biden administration has been doing for the past three years to Trump, his lawyers, and\u2064 his supporters. The criminal cases against Trump \u2062are nothing if\u2064 not the weaponization of the DOJ to crush an unpopular sitting president\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-delivers-another-blow-against-his-primary-political-rival-with-latest-trump-indictment\/\" title=\"Biden deals another blow to primary rival with new Trump indictment.\">chief\u200b political rival<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This weaponization\u2064 began even before Trump won the White House in 2016. In the\u2063 waning days of the \u2062Obama administration, Democrats used the FBI and the intelligence\u200d community to go after the\u2064 Trump campaign \u2014 \u200cand continued going after Trump after he won the presidency, perpetuating the Russia-collusion hoax for\u2064 years with the assistance of a complicit corporate press. If anyone is using the levers of government power to go after their enemies, it\u2019s Democrats, not Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Other\u2064 examples of Democrat projection abound. Democrats \u2063feign\u200c outrage\u2064 at the arrest of The Wall Street Journal\u2019s Evan Gershkovich in Russia, but they gloat, as NBC News did, when the \u200bBiden administration does the same to right-of-center journalists\u2062 here in America.<\/p>\n<p>Pick almost any controversial issue, and you\u2019ll find the same pattern at work. \u2062Democrats flood the internet with disinformation \u2062and propaganda about Covid, and then decry dissenting voices (and \u2064accompanying data) as agents of\u200c disinformation who must be censored and banned by Big Tech. Same thing for what they call \u201celection disinformation,\u201d which merely refers to opinions and data that run counter to their \u2062preferred narrative.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats do \u2063this with \u2062everything.\u2062 On abortion, they take \u200bthe extreme position that it should be allowed up until the moment of birth,\u200c then denounce Republican-led states that impose restrictions\u2063 that are the norm across the Western world. On transgenderism, they insist children can consent to genital mutilation and sterilization, then condemn modest \u2064efforts to ban or limit these practices as child abuse. On immigration, they throw open\u2064 the southern\u200d border\u2063 and let\u2063 10 million illegal immigrants flood into the country, then attack anyone who suggests\u2063 we have a crisis at the border and need to secure it. On crime, they defund the police and decriminalize a host of antisocial, destructive behavior\u200d in our cities, precipitating a crime wave of \u2062robbery and assault, then denounce as racist any arguments for\u2062 law and order. On racism itself,\u200d they tar \u200deveryone on\u2062 the \u2062right with the label but look the other way \u200cwhen the racists on their side call for the genocide of the \u200bJews and defend (even celebrate) Hamas\u200c terrorist attacks on civilians.<\/p>\n<p>On nearly every major issue today, Democrats are the extremists. \u2064Their denunciations of Trump \u2064and his\u200b supporters rise in direct proportion to their own extremist agenda.
