The car&#8217;s battery life calculator estimated I\u200c would have about 15% battery left upon arrival, with a charging station \u200dconveniently located at Lucas Oil. So I thought I was all set.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, things quickly \u2063took a turn for the\u2062 worse.\u2063 PFT Commenter noticed that the battery percentage was dropping rapidly as \u200bhe drove. He texted his \u200cgroup, explaining the situation and the possibility of \u200bneeding a ride for the last leg of the journey.<\/p>\n<p>With \u2064the\u200c battery reaching 0%, \u2064he \u2063desperately\u200b searched for a charging station, adding an unexpected 30 minutes to his trip. This delay caused him to arrive late at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Feeling frustrated, he admitted, \u201cI tried to save the environment, but \u200dnow I\u2019m going full Taylor Swift mode, using as much energy as \u200cpossible. I\u2019ll fly a private\u200b jet instead of driving my earth-saving electric car. So much for saving the environment for our children and our children\u2019s \u200dchildren. F*** \u200dthose kids! Little did I know, it would turn into a nightmare road trip.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>According to\u200b PFT Commenter, the troubles began \u200bshortly after he embarked on his journey. He had carefully planned his route, taking into account the location of charging stations along the way. However, \u200dhe soon realized that the \u200bcharging infrastructure was not as reliable as he had hoped.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had \u200dmapped out all the \u2062charging stations along \u200cmy route, but when I arrived at the \u200cfirst one, it was out of order. \u2062The next one I tried \u2063was occupied by\u200b another electric car, and the charging time was estimated to be three hours. I couldn&#8217;t afford to waste that much time, so I had to search for an alternative \u2063charging point,\u201d PFT Commenter \u200blamented.<\/p>\n<p>The sports\u200c commentator found himself in a\u200b constant state of anxiety, worrying whether he would be able to find a charging station before his car \u200cran out of power. He\u2062 spent hours driving around in search of a functioning charger, only to be disappointed time and time again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was driving\u200b on fumes at one point, desperately looking for a charging station. I \u2063had no idea where\u2064 the next one was, and\u200b I started to fear that I might be stranded in the middle of nowhere,\u201d \u2064PFT Commenter recalled\u200c with a shiver.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, after what seemed like an eternity, he stumbled upon a charging station that was not only functioning but also had an available spot. He was understandably upset, and I felt like such an idiot,\u201d PFT Commenter admitted.<\/p>\n<p>The traumatic road trip left a lasting impact on PFT Commenter.
