Their crowning \u2062achievement was \u2064Title IX, which \u2062ensured \u2063sex equality\u2062 in education, including athletics.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">However, the\u2064 landscape has drastically changed. Women&#8217;s sporting events today are\u2063 plagued\u200d by\u200b blatant \u200bdiscrimination, making it hard\u2062 to believe that Title IX\u200c even exists. This can \u200cbe attributed to third-wave feminists who prioritize equity \u2062for trans-identified males over women&#8217;s\u2064 equality. They promote the\u200c idea that gender is performative\u2064 and that one&#8217;s &#8220;natural\u200d sex&#8221; is transient.\u200b Figures like\u2062 Judith Butler and Gloria Anzald\u00faa have popularized &#8220;queer theory,&#8221; leading to a battle \u200dof the sexes in \u200chigh\u2062 school gymnasiums across \u2064the country.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">These feminists also propagate the narrative that concerns about transgender athletic \u2062participation stem from unexamined assumptions about biology and gender, rather than the clear \u200cadvantages that \u2064transgender-identified males have in sports. These injuries are\u200b just\u2064 the tip of the iceberg, as media \u200dcompanies\u200c influenced by \u200dthe trans minority often suppress such\u2063 incidents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Where is the feminist outrage? Where is the dismay from third-wave feminists about the \u2062consequences of their intersectionality and queerness ideologies?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">How many more female athletes must be harmed \u200cbefore a new wave of feminists rises up? We need feminists who understand \u200dthe moral order and \u2062natural law, and who demand equality \u200dwith the \u2063same\u200d fervor as the second wave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As modern \u200cwomen, we\u2064 must recognize that the third wave has failed us, surrendering the hard-fought ground claimed by\u200d our grandmothers. We must trust our\u200d own observations, expose\u2063 discrimination wherever it hides, and reject the\u2062 chauvinism masked as\u2063 &#8220;queerness&#8221; and equity. By advocating for \u200dthe inclusion of transgender women \u200din\u2062 women&#8217;s sports, they fail\u2062 to recognize\u2064 the \u200dinherent physical advantages that male-bodied individuals often possess. These advantages, such as greater\u2062 muscle\u200b mass, bone density,\u200b and lung\u2062 capacity, can greatly impact athletic performance and create an unlevel playing field\u200c for female athletes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To \u2063dismiss the biological differences between males and females in sports\u200c is to deny scientific \u200breality and ignore the years \u2062of progress\u2063 that women have made in the fight for gender equality. \u2064It is also a disservice to \u200dfemale athletes who \u2063have worked tirelessly \u2062to excel in their respective sports, only\u2062 to be overshadowed by individuals with distinct physical advantages.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In \u2064addition to the physical disparities, there are also concerns \u2064regarding the safety of\u200b female athletes competing against transgender individuals. Sports \u200csuch as contact sports,\u2063 where physical strength and endurance\u200d play a significant\u2064 role, can be\u200c particularly risky for female athletes. Despite claims that \u200bhormone therapy reduces the advantages of male physiology, there is still insufficient \u2064evidence to \u200csupport this assertion, and the potential for\u200d injury remains.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As\u2063 feminists, it is\u2063 crucial\u2062 to advocate \u2062for\u2063 the rights and empowerment of women \u2064in \u200dall aspects of society, including sports.
