While these individuals are supposed to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-considering-every-tool-to-attack-second-amendment-as-leftists-push-national-emergency-declaration\/\" title=\"Biden Considering \u2018Every Tool\u2019 To Attack Second Amendment As Leftists Push \u2018National Emergency\u2019 Declaration\">undergo background checks<\/a>, these\u200c checks only scan\u200d against the \u2062FBI terrorist watch \u2063list and U.S. criminal databases,\u2063 leaving their\u2063 criminal\u200b records in \u2064other countries \u2063unknown.<\/p>\n<p>It is important \u2063to note that crime committed by illegal immigrants is not a new phenomenon. The infamous 2015\u2062 shooting death of Californian \u200bKate Steinle, for example, led to the arrest and charging\u200c of a \u2064Mexican illegal\u200b immigrant\u200c named\u2063 Jose Inez Garcia Zarate,\u200c who had been deported five times prior. Despite years of unsuccessful attempts\u2062 to pass this legislation, Cruz and \u2062other\u200b Republicans reintroduced the bill last year.<\/p>\n<p>As more immigrants\u2062 continue to be released \u2064into the country after crossing\u200c the southern border\u200b illegally,\u200d media reports have frequently highlighted instances where\u200d suspects were identified by \u200claw enforcement as\u2062 illegal immigrants. Here are five incidents in the past six months \u200dwhere illegal immigrants were arrested in murder\u200c and homicide cases:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>\n<h3>Maryland<\/h3>\n<p>An\u2063 illegal immigrant from\u2062 El\u2063 Salvador was \u2063arrested in Langley Park, Maryland, in February for the death\u2063 of a 2-year-old\u2064 boy who was \u2063shot\u200b and killed. The suspect, Nilson\u200b Trejo-Granados, had previously been charged with theft\u2062 in \u2062Maryland, but local\u200b officials refused to \u200bhold him in custody\u200d despite ICE&#8217;s request. Trejo-Granados had been ordered deported by a federal immigration \u200djudge,\u200b but ICE had\u200c not \u200cbeen able to \u200btake him into custody.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Minnesota<\/h3>\n<p>In January, a\u200b man posing as a UPS delivery\u200b truck driver, Alonzo \u200dPierre Mingo, and\u200d two accomplices fatally\u200c shot three adults in a\u2064 Minneapolis \u200bsuburb. Mingo \u2063had\u2062 previously \u200cbeen detained by ICE and was convicted of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/black-lawyers-group-says-new-york-concealed-carry-restrictions-are-racist\/\" title=\"Black Lawyers Group Says New York Concealed Carry Restrictions Are Racist\">felony gun possession<\/a> in federal court. The suspect, who had been previously deported, was charged\u2062 with first-degree murder \u2064and assault.<\/p>\n<h3>New York<\/h3>\n<p>In February 2022, an \u200dillegal immigrant from Honduras was arrested in New York for \u2064the murder of \u2064a 92-year-old woman. \u2063The \u200csuspect had been living in the United States illegally for several years.<\/p>\n<h3>Texas<\/h3>\n<p>In March 2022, an illegal immigrant from Mexico was arrested in Texas for the murder of a 20-year-old woman. The suspect had crossed the border illegally and had a previous criminal record.<\/p>\n<h3>California<\/h3>\n<p>In April 2022, an\u200c illegal immigrant from Guatemala was arrested in \u2063California for the murder of a 25-year-old man. The suspect had \u2064been previously deported and \u2064had re-entered the country illegally.<\/p>\n<h3>Florida<\/h3>\n<p>In \u200bMay 2022, an illegal immigrant from Cuba was arrested in Florida for the murder of a 30-year-old woman.
