While this \u201cfirst-of-its-kind \u200dvoting center\u200b in the nation\u201d will \u201caccommodate\u201d all\u200c voters, \u2062the \u2063facility specifically caters to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-miserable-lefts-endless-quest-to-censor-comedians-is-way-older-than-dave-chappelle\/\" title=\"The Miserable Left\u2019s Endless Quest To Censor Comedians Is Way Older Than Dave Chappelle\">transgender-identifying individuals<\/a>,\u2063 according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audacy.com\/knxnews\/news\/local\/nations-first-transgender-voting-center-opens-in-la-county\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KNX News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe opening of the nation\u2019s first transgender voting center today in Los Angeles marks a significant milestone in our \u2064efforts to \u200dchampion equity, \u200binclusivity, and LGBTQA+ rights in California,\u201d Kounalakis <a href=\"https:\/\/www.morningstar.com\/news\/business-wire\/20240229144380\/ca-lt-governor-honors-nations-first-transgender-facility-vote-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Kounalakis and\u200b Yaroslavsky were joined in the unveiling by cross-dressers Victoria\u200d Ortega \u2064and Chela Demuir of \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transidentity.org\/team\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">FLUX<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theuwc.org\/our-team\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Unique Woman\u2019s Coalition<\/a>. According\u200c to its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transidentity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>, FLUX utilizes social events and \u2062develops so-called \u201csafe spaces\u201d and \u201cinnovative advocacy initiatives\u201d to \u201craise the profile\u201d of \u2064LGBT-identifying individuals. UWC\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theuwc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aims<\/a> \u200d to create \u201cthe next generation of black trans leadership from within the\u200d community through mentorship, scholarship,\u200d and community care engagement work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During her remarks,\u200b Yaroslavsky couldn\u2019t help but regurgitate her party\u2019s unsubstantiated lie that Republican-backed election integrity measures \u2014 such \u2062as voter ID and returning mail-in balloting\u200b laws to what they were before the 2020 Covid lockdowns \u2014 suppress votes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs state legislatures\u2063 across the country try \u200bto make it harder and harder to vote, imposing draconian voter ID laws, eliminating early and mail-in voting, and limiting voting hours,\u201d\u2064 Los Angeles and California \u201cmust be the light in all that darkness,\u201d the Democrat councilwoman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.audacy.com\/knxnews\/news\/local\/nations-first-transgender-voting-center-opens-in-la-county\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">said<\/a> \u200d in hyperbolic fashion.<\/p>\n<p>Ortega echoed \u200dthose sentiments, \u200dbaselessly claiming trans-identifying people \u201care intimidated when we\u2064 go and \u2062cast our vote.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Contrary to Yaroslavsky\u2019s assertion, there is no evidence any of\u200c the election policies Republicans have proposed make it difficult\u2064 for citizens to vote. Courts in <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/11\/06\/court-democrats-have-no-evidence-to-challenge-new-hampshires-voter-id-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New Hampshire<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/01\/09\/court-throws-out-challenge-to-ohios-voter-id-law-no-evidence-it-burdens-voters\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ohio<\/a>, for\u200b example, recently struck down bogus Democrat-backed lawsuits challenging the states\u2019 voter ID laws, dismissing leftist claims these policies \u200d\u201csuppress\u201d demographics likely to support Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>Equally revealing is that the vast majority of voters \u2014\u2062 including\u2063 those who are\u2064 black and Hispanic \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/07\/31\/exclusive-poll-shows-majority-of-americans-support-voter-id-limited-mail-in-voting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">support<\/a> commonsense election provisions \u200clike voter ID requirements and ensuring only U.S. citizens can vote in American elections.
