Wyoming Republican Rep. Harriet\u2063 Hageman, a member of the House Oversight Committee,\u2063 revealed in\u200d an exclusive\u200b interview with The Federalist that Hunter\u200d Biden used addiction as\u200b an escape when faced \u200cwith tough \u200cquestions.\u200c <\/p>\n

Whenever\u200d Biden was confronted with difficult inquiries, Hageman described \u2063his response as, “I don’t know, I\u2062 don’t remember, because\u2063 I was addicted at \u2062that time.” One\u2062 notable instance was\u200d when Biden \u200c couldn’t \u2064recall<\/a> a meeting\u200d between \u2063his father and Chinese business leaders. Biden also feigned ignorance<\/a> about the \u200dexact amount the family received from Chinese companies, while insisting that every transaction was legal \u200band ethical.<\/p>\n

“He was extremely well prepared,” Hageman commented on Biden’s closed-door deposition. “His attorneys had spent days and days with him to ensure he had his story down pat.” <\/p>\n

However, when pressed for details, Hageman noted that Biden often responded with, “Well, I don’t have a memory of\u200c that.”\u200c Biden’s attorneys were also aggressive in deflecting difficult questions. <\/p>\n

Hageman questioned Biden’s ability to handle multimillion-dollar deals with \u200cinternational partners given his\u200b history of addiction. <\/p>\n

“Based on the photographs, information from the laptop, and details from \u200dyour book, it’s hard to see you as a responsible professional,” Hageman told Biden during the deposition. In response, Biden displayed what Hageman \u200bdescribed as “shockingly arrogant” behavior.<\/p>\n

“There are people in this\u2062 room who suffer from alcoholism and\u2064 still function,” Biden retorted. <\/p>\n

Hageman asked\u200c if Biden had informed his associates about his substance abuse. <\/p>\n

“It was fairly obvious I had a problem,” Biden replied. <\/p>\n

Hageman stated that Biden’s testimony confirmed\u2063 what lawmakers already\u2062 suspected, which was that his board positions were solely\u200c due to his last name, as he had nothing else to \u200doffer \u200dbesides access\u2063 to his father.<\/p>\n

In his deposition, \u200dHunter Biden\u200b confirmed the access his father provided, which had been testified to by other witnesses. <\/p>\n

During a trip to \u200bCalifornia, Hunter Biden admitted that his father \u2063had a meeting with Tony Bobulinski, a former business partner turned whistleblower\u2064 who accused <\/a>the president\u200b of being compromised by the Chinese Communist Party. <\/p>\n

“He met him in the hotel lobby,” \u2063Hunter Biden stated, according to the transcript <\/a>of the interview released\u2062 on\u2064 Thursday. <\/p>\n
