Under\u2062 this program,\u200d federal land management agencies would be directed to appoint veterans \u2062to vacant \u2062positions, provided they possess the necessary skills\u200b and abilities.\u200d The Office of Personnel Management would also be required to submit \u2064an annual \u200dreport to\u2064 Congress,\u200c in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs and\u2063 the specific \u2063land \u200bmanagement agencies, to assess the effectiveness of the recruitment efforts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our veterans deserve\u200c workforce training\u200b and well-paying jobs upon their return to \u2063civilian life, and it is\u2062 Congress&#8217; responsibility to make \u2063that a reality for all our nation&#8217;s heroes,&#8221; emphasized Rep.
