Meanwhile, President Joe Biden, despite his encouragement of certain actions, will escape charges due to his position as the ruling incumbent and\u2062 his \u200baffiliation with the Democratic Party.<\/p>\n<p>In a tragic incident, a Venezuelan immigrant\u2063 named Jose Antonio Ibarra allegedly murdered 22-year-old nursing student \u200dLaken \u2062Hope Riley while she was out\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/02\/25\/us\/uga-augusta-university-student-killing-monday\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">jogging<\/a> by the lake at the University of Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities swiftly\u200b <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox5atlanta.com\/news\/who-is-jose-antonio-ibarra-man-arrested-for-murder-of-laken-riley-on-uga-campus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">arrested<\/a> \u2064 Ibarra and charged him with felonies related to the\u200b murder. It\u200c was later confirmed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)\u2064 that Ibarra had entered the United States illegally and had a\u200d previous arrest in \u200bNew York.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s Department of Homeland\u2062 Security (DHS) secretary, Alejandro Mayorkas, \u2064faced \u2062impeachment earlier this month for the administration&#8217;s actions that encouraged a\u200b surge in migration. House Republicans accused Mayorkas of\u2062 violating the law by prioritizing alternatives to parole. These initiatives not only allowed individuals like Ibarra to \u2064enter and remain in the U.S.\u2063 illegally but were also deemed illegal themselves.<\/p>\n<p>While \u2063the House of Representatives may not be a courtroom,\u2064 it holds the power to determine what is impeachable. In 2021, House Democrats \u200bvoted to convict \u200cTrump for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. If Trump is held responsible for the events of that day, then Biden should\u2064 be held accountable \u2063for the crimes committed by migrants flooding the southern border.<\/p>\n<p>A report \u200dfrom the Department of Justice (DOJ) in 2021 revealed that \u206364 percent of federal arrests in 2018 \u200cinvolved non-U.S. citizens, despite this group\u200c only accounting for 7 percent\u200d of the total population, according to the Heritage Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, \u200bas migrants like Ibarra enter the \u2063U.S. from Venezuela, the South American nation is experiencing \u200ba decrease in violent crime. Venezuela\u2064 has seen violent deaths reach a\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2023-12-28\/venezuela-s-violent-deaths-fall-to-22-year-low-on-migration?embedded-checkout=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">22-year low<\/a>. In other words, Venezuela seems to\u200b be exporting its criminals\u200b to the U.S. borders.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, Trump is unlikely to \u200dreceive a fair trial in Washington, D.C.
