Another report includes a photo of an agent\u2019s torn shirt where the\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/lawmakers-reintroduce-bill-to-abolish-qualified-immunity-for-police\/\" title=\"Lawmakers Reintroduce Bill to Abolish Qualified Immunity for Police\">dog bit<\/a>\u2062 his chest and\u200c left \u201ctwo\u200b lacerations.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Any other dog in America with half the rap sheet would have already crossed the Rainbow Bridge by \u200bnow. But Commander isn\u2019t just any American dog with an irresponsible owner. This four-legged liability and his owner reside in\u2062 the White House\u200b where criminals get a pass and the force of the law is only used \u2064against political enemies. The first family says, \u201cCommander has lived with other family members since last fall.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Of course, Secret Service members do not \u200djust stay\u2064 at the White House. Though no \u2064one was bitten it\u2019s just a \u200bmatter of time \u2062before it happens.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It\u2019s important to indict Jill Biden here specifically because she is cited as present in many of the reports, where agents make notes like the dog lunged to bite\u200c while \u200dthe \u201cFirst Lady regained control of the leash.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Elizabeth \u2063Alexander, Jill\u200d Biden\u2019s spokeswoman,\u00a0told\u00a0the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/02\/21\/us-news\/biden-dog-commander-drew-blood-with-attacks-on-secret-service-at-white-house-vacation-home-documents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New\u2062 York Post<\/a> \u200cthat \u201cDespite additional dog training,\u2062 leashing, \u200dworking with veterinarians, and consulting with animal behaviorists, the White House environment simply proved too much for\u2063 Commander.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>So he was removed from\u2062 the family\u2019s primary residence to a secondary where \u200bhe\u2019s free to continue his aggressive behavior? It\u2019s hard to imagine that excuse working for any other K9 in Washington, D.C., let alone such a notoriously aggressive breed (German Shepherds are often targeted by breed restriction laws in some jurisdictions).\u200c Let\u2019s look at what would happen to any other dog in Commander\u2019s \u200dsituation.<\/p>\n<h3>The \u2063Fate of a &#8220;Dangerous Dog&#8221;<\/h3>\n<blockquote>\n<p>D.C. law <a href=\"https:\/\/code.dccouncil.gov\/us\/dc\/council\/code\/sections\/8-1901\">defines<\/a> a \u201cdangerous dog\u201d as any \u200ddog that causes \u201cserious injury\u2062 to a person\u201d without provocation or even \u201cchases or menaces a person\u201d without provocation,\u200b \u201cas if to attack.\u201d \u2064According to these Secret Service reports, Commander is a Class\u200b A\u2063 \u201cdangerous dog.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>What are the <a href=\"https:\/\/code.dccouncil.gov\/us\/dc\/council\/code\/sections\/8-1903\">consequences<\/a> and penalties of owning a \u201cdangerous dog\u201d in the district? Well, it\u2019s left up to the mayor.\u2064 The mayor can decide to enforce \u201cdangerous dog\u201d registration requirements that include steps like \u2062paying fines, having the dog spayed or neutered, having it microchipped, and posting a visible warning sign about the dog on their property. Or the \u200cmayor \u200c\u201cmay humanely destroy the dog.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Presumably, Biden\u2019s nepotism has allowed Commander, as with other Biden offspring, to skirt out from under \u200bthe jurisdiction of Mayor Muriel Bowser \u2063(not that she would be willing to serve proper justice considering the lethal\u2064 public safety crisis she\u2019s\u200b already responsible for creating in\u200b her city). But even if law enforcement or public officials\u200d aren\u2019t willing to \u201chumanely\u200c destroy\u201d a clear\u200c threat to public safety, that\u2019s\u2064 where truly responsible pet owners step up to do the hard thing for \u2064the sake of those around them.
