However, it remains uncertain what promises he can make, given his inability to \u2062gain congressional support for increased\u2063 funding for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s approval rating has further declined this week, with\u2063 Gallup attributing it to disapproval of his \u200dhandling of Ukraine, immigration, and the\u2062 Middle East. Gallup somberly reported, &#8220;Americans\u2019\u2064 approval of President Joe Biden\u2019s job performance has\u200b edged down three percentage \u2063points \u200cto 38%, just one point shy of his all-time low and well below the 50%\u2063 threshold that has typically led to reelection for\u2062 incumbents.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>They added, &#8220;Looking \u2062ahead to November, history suggests that Biden has significant work to do to improve his \u2064approval rating among independents as well as Democrats if he \u200bis to win a second term.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Zogby, grading Biden a &#8220;B&#8221; for the week, highlighted improvements in hiring. However, conservative analyst Jed Babbin gave \u200dthe week an &#8220;F,&#8221; echoing Gallup&#8217;s emphasis on the administration&#8217;s failures.<\/p>\n<h3>Jed Babbin<\/h3>\n<p>Grade: \u2063F<\/p>\n<p>According \u2063to \u200bPresident Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump is allegedly out to destroy democracy, and everyone should be held to the same standard of obeying the law. However, it seems like a one-way street for Biden &#038; Co.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, after canceling another billion dollars in student loans\u2062 to \u200bgain votes, regaled a California campaign audience this week with stories of how Republicans tried to stop him and sued him, even with the Supreme Court\u2064 ruling against\u200c him. Yet, he still claimed he would forgive the loans of 153,000 borrowers, despite lacking the authority to do so.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s just the tip of the iceberg\u200b for this week, but it&#8217;s a start that cannot be ignored.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH),\u2064 the \u200cchairman of the House Intelligence Committee, warned of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/serious-concerns-gop-leaders-demand-answers-over-russians-illegally-crossing-americas-southern-border\/\" title=\"\u2018Serious Concerns\u2019: GOP Leaders Demand Answers Over Russians Illegally Crossing America\u2019s Southern Border\">significant national security threat<\/a> that Biden should \u2062declassify for public debate. White House Spokesman John Kirby revealed that the threat is Russia&#8217;s development of nuclear-armed satellites capable of destroying U.S. satellites. However, Biden has taken no action to address this threat.<\/p>\n<p>In the Israel-Hamas conflict, Biden is seeking the \u2063help of \u200dthe\u2062 United Nations to secure a ceasefire. However, this approach could potentially leave Hamas terrorists in control of the Gaza Strip.<\/p>\n<p>Fox News reported that U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials believe Biden&#8217;s open border policy has allowed approximately 7.3 million illegal aliens to enter the U.S. The northern border is \u200balso\u200d experiencing a 240% increase in\u2062 illegal crossings.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a powerful scene in \u2062the movie\u2063 1776 where \u200cJohn Adams, frustrated with Congress&#8217; inaction, sings about liberty, asking, &#8220;Is anybody there? Four polls released this week\u2063 show him at around 40%, which is not great.<\/p>\n<p>It certainly doesn&#8217;t \u2064hurt that a panel\u200b of 154 history and political science scholars ranked him as the 14th greatest president, while his likely\u200c opponent, former President Donald Trump, was ranked 45th \u2013 the lowest position, worse than traditionally \u2064criticized presidents like Buchanan, Fillmore, and Pierce. Perhaps the descendants of those presidents should express their gratitude to both the scholars and Trump. While there may be some bias among \u200bacademics, being ranked 14th is commendable, while 45th is not.<\/p>\n<p>Biden has imposed sanctions on Russian leaders\u200c following the death of dissident Alexei Navalny, and there\u200b may \u2062be \u200bsome progress towards a limited ceasefire and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/israels-cabinet-votes-to-approve-hostage-release-deal\/\" title=\"Israel\u2019s Cabinet Votes To Approve Hostage Release Deal\">hostage release deal<\/a>\u200d in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>However, the real \u200dboost for\u200b Biden comes from\u200c his opponent, who must come up with \u2062nearly half\u2063 a billion dollars in fines, interest, and\u200b legal fees while appealing his New York \u200cbusiness fraud case. In an incredibly tacky display, Trump has resorted to selling his own brand of\u200c sneakers. This may give some Americans pause when considering voting\u2064 for someone who could potentially be found guilty\u2062 of felonies before Election Day. It&#8217;s \u200ca whole different story\u2063 when you have to contemplate a man standing naked, wearing only a barrel and gold sneakers. While the details of the plan still need \u2063to be worked \u2064out, it is a positive step forward in addressing \u2064the country&#8217;s aging infrastructure and creating jobs.<\/p>\n<p>However, challenges still remain. The situation\u200c in Ukraine continues to be a concern, as Biden struggles to \u2063secure increased\u2062 funding and support from Congress. \u200dThe ongoing conflict in the Middle East\u200b between Israel and \u2064Hamas is another area where Biden is facing challenges in \u2063achieving a ceasefire.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Biden&#8217;s approval ratings have declined, with criticism \u2063centered on his handling of these issues, as well as immigration. Historically, low approval ratings have posed challenges for incumbents seeking reelection,\u2064 and Biden will need to make significant improvements to regain support among Democrats and independents.<\/p>\n<p>In \u2063contrast, former President Donald Trump is facing his own set of challenges. He is currently facing legal woes, particularly in relation to a New\u200c York business fraud case\u200d where he will \u2063have to come up\u200b with $350 million while \u2063he \u200bappeals the\u200c case. This\u200b serves as a reminder that \u200deven though Biden is facing difficulties, he is not burdened with the \u200bsame legal troubles as his predecessor.<\/p>\n<p>In conclusion, it \u200bhas \u2064been a mixed week for President Joe Biden. While he has\u200b made progress in \u2063areas such as vaccination efforts and infrastructure negotiations, he \u2063continues\u200d to face challenges in securing funding\u2063 for Ukraine, addressing\u200b the conflict in the Middle East, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/nothing-desantis-did-or-didnt-do-would-have-made-any-difference\/\" title=\"DeSantis' actions had no impact whatsoever\">maintaining high approval ratings<\/a>. On the\u200b other hand, \u200bformer President Donald Trump is dealing with his own legal issues.
