But cellphone data included in a new \u200bcourt filing calls those claims \u2063into question.<\/p>\n<p>On\u200b Friday, former President Donald Trump\u2019s attorneys submitted a \u200clegal filing including purported data \u201ccollected from\u2063 Wade\u2019s cellphone and\u200b cellphone \u2064tower transmissions.\u201d That data indicates Wade made \u201cat\u2062 least 35 visits to the \u2063Hapeville neighborhood \u2062where Fani Willis was living \u200bbefore the district attorney\u200d hired \u2062him to lead\u201d her get-Trump prosecution, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/politics\/breaking-cellphone-data-raise-questions-about-start-of-willis-wade-relationship\/SFVMYPTD2RD3HMZYOH3377CNNE\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (AJC)<\/a>. \u200dThe data appears to contradict Wade\u2019s \u200bclaims in \u2064court that \u201che had visited Willis at her condo in Hapeville no more than 10 times before \u2064he was hired in November \u200c2021.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Willis and Wade <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/16\/watch-fani-willis-melt-down-in-court-when-asked-about-the-lover-she-hired-to-ruin-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">maintained<\/a> under oath last week that their romantic relationship did not begin\u200b until spring 2022 \u200d\u2014 \u200cmonths after Wade was appointed special prosecutor \u2062on Nov. 1, \u20632021 \u2014 and lasted until summer 2023. \u2062The \u2062defendants argue in their filings that the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/20\/everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-motions-to-disqualify-get-trump-prosecutor-fani-willis\/\">approximately $1 million Willis\u200b paid\u2063 Wade<\/a> \u200cto assist in prosecuting them constitutes \u2062a financial conflict of interest that disqualifies the prosecution. The\u2062 defendants\u200b say Wade used substantial portions of the taxpayer money\u200c she paid him to take\u2063 Willis on expensive vacations.<\/p>\n<p>While\u2064 the \u2063two parties also \u2063claimed Wade \u2063never \u2062spent the night at Willis\u2019s Hapeville condo, the\u2063 data included \u200bin Friday\u2019s\u2063 legal filing appears to \u2063contradict these claims. According to \u2064AJC, the\u2064 cellphone information shows Wade twice arriving at Willis\u2019 \u200bcondo late in the evening and departing \u201cearly the next\u200b morning in the months\u200d before [the former lovers] said their\u200d relationship became romantic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One such <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/completely-violated-state-trooper-describes-alleged-cuomo-incident-from-month-after-he-signed-sexual-harassment-law\/\" title=\"\u2018Completely Violated\u2019: State Trooper Describes Alleged Cuomo Incident From Month After He Signed Sexual Harassment Law\">incident allegedly occurred<\/a> on Sept. 11,\u2063 2021. The court documents say Wade\u2019s phone that day was shown leaving \u201cthe Doraville area and\u2062 arriv[ing] in the vicinity of Willis\u2019 Hapeville address at 10:45\u200c p.m.\u201d The device purportedly did not leave the area until 3:28 a.m. and later made\u2062 its \u200bway \u2063to East Cobb at 4:05 \u2062a.m., \u201cshortly before Wade sent a text\u200c to Willis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If proven true, these revelations would corroborate testimony from Robin Bryant-Yeartie\u2064 last week. A former friend of Willis who also worked in the Fulton County attorney\u2019s office, \u2064Yeartie <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/02\/16\/watch-fani-willis-melt-down-in-court-when-asked-about-the-lover-she-hired-to-ruin-trump\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">claimed<\/a> there was \u201cno doubt\u201d\u200c Willis and Wade\u2019s romantic \u200drelationship began earlier than the two maintained, and that she <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2024\/02\/15\/us-news\/fani-willis-pal-testifies-she-saw-her-kissing-nathan-wade-in-2019\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">witnessed<\/a> them \u201chugging\u201d and \u201ckissing\u201d \u200das early as 2019.<\/p>\n<p>During her testimony, Willis denied the allegations and lashed out\u2063 at the lawyers of the 19 Republicans she\u2019s attempting to prosecute\u200b for raising questions about her relationship with\u2063 Wade. When pressed \u2062on whether Wade ever visited \u200cher home, for example,\u200c Willis\u200c picked\u2064 up several documents before her and <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2024\/02\/15\/judge-halts-proceedings-fani-willis-witness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">accused<\/a> \u2064the defense of lying\u2064 about\u200b the\u2064 situation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo let\u2019s be clear \u2019cause you lied in \u200bthis. \u2026 Let me tell you which one you lied in. \u2026\u200b Right here. I think \u200byou lied right here,\u201d\u200b Willis\u2063 said, grasping the papers. \u2062While Judge Scott \u200dMcAfee \u2062attempted to gavel her down, Willis continued, shouting:\u200b \u201cNo, no, no, this is the\u2063 truth.\u2063 It is a\u200c lie!
