Sorry, \u200bwhat\u2062 actually happened \u200cis that \u200dthe banks who took\u2063 the risk of \u200bfinancing Trump\u2019s ventures raked in fistfulls of profits and continued\u2062 chasing him to continue \u200dtheir lucrative partnerships. In other words, the parties \u200c\u201cwronged\u201d by Trump got richer.<\/p>\n<p>With each passing day, nearly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2024\/02\/21\/trump-faces-obstacles-to-securing-an-appeal-bond-in-fraud-case-.html\">$100,000 \u200cin\u2063 interest<\/a> \u200cis tacked\u200b onto the sentence\u200c and the \u200bD.A., Letitia \u201cpeek-a-boo\u201d James\u200b (as\u200c Trump calls her for hilarious yet unknown reasons), has gone so far as to threaten state <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-letitia-james-fraud-lawsuit-judgment-verdict-63e643d0fe098cc1ac178c003f21a40d\">seizure<\/a> of the former president\u2019s\u2063 marquee real estate properties should he fail to pay the \u2062sum.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s \u2063legal team\u2064 has promised to appeal. But to \u2062do that, they would have to\u200c secure \u2062a bond \u2062that\u2019s even\u2062 higher than amount he\u2019s \u200cbeen ordered to pay.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-280db9057fe235abde9e76d2423bb7d9 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-280db9057fe235abde9e76d2423bb7d9\"><\/div>\n<p>This is\u200c a former president. This is a \u2064former president who exponentially increased his\u2064 support for reelection in 2020, earning \u200d7 million\u200c more votes than any sitting president before. This is \u2063a former president running \u200dfor a non-consecutive second term and who has all \u200bbut in name locked\u2064 up the Republican nomination. This is \u2062a former president whose polling numbers currently \u200bshow\u2063 him likely to \u200cdefeat\u2063 the sitting \u200cone \u200bin virtually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/2023\/11\/donald-trump-joe-biden-swing-states-poll\">every swing state<\/a> that will decide the election.<\/p>\n<p>They\u2019re taking his money \u2014 \u2062potentially all of the cash he has\u200d on hand \u200c\u2014\u200b revoking his \u2063right to participate in an\u200c entire state\u2019s economy, and threatening to snatch his private property. That\u2019s \u2062just in New \u2064York. Elsewhere, Democrats are trying to keep his name off the ballot \u2063or, \u200cif that doesn\u2019t work, put\u2064 him in\u2063 prison.<\/p>\n<p>Trump did business in New York for decades. This isn\u2019t a coincidence or a matter of \u200dkarma\u200b catching \u200cup. \u2064James\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/trump-fraud-new-york-letitia-james-lawsuit-a3a2c2569440c24bd5c5262103cb8390\">campaigned for \u2064her job<\/a> promising to pursue the \u2063former president, explicitly because he became president.<\/p>\n<p>If becoming president means\u200b potentially seeing your whole \u2064life\u2019s work confiscated \u2062by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/limbaugh-the-tyrannical-lefts-sinister-conspiracy-to-silence-conservatives\/\" title=\"LIMBAUGH: The Tyrannical Left\u2019s Sinister Conspiracy To Silence Conservatives\">political opposition<\/a>, then elections aren\u2019t fair.\u2062 This country isn\u2019t free.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-490a95794469beb2cbeaf6d99a99a542 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-490a95794469beb2cbeaf6d99a99a542\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-969236f00c0ccd03e9cc41824bb8858c fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-969236f00c0ccd03e9cc41824bb8858c\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> What potential consequences could arise if the ruling against\u200d Trump sets a dangerous precedent for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/ted-cruz-manages-to-trigger-leftists-by-doing-something-millions-of-americans-do-every-year\/\" title=\"Ted Cruz Manages To Trigger Leftists by Doing Something Millions of Americans Do Every Year\">targeting political opponents<\/a>\u200b through the \u2062legal system<\/h2>\n<p><span>  For \u200bthe full amount of the \u2064judgment, which could be \u2062as\u2062 much as $549 million. This poses a significant\u200c challenge, as most insurers are \u200breluctant to issue bonds for such large sums, especially in a case with such high-profile political implications.<\/p>\n<p>The timing of this ruling is highly suspicious. It comes just months before the next presidential election, where Trump is widely expected to run again. The Democrats are clearly trying to cripple his campaign \u200band prevent him from regaining the White House.<\/p>\n<p>But this attack \u2063on Trump is not just an attack on one man. It is an attack on our democracy itself.\u200b If the ruling stands, it sets a dangerous precedent that any <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/florida-is-open-new-york-is-closed-and-ny-has-more-covid-deaths\/\" title=\"Florida Is Open, New York Is Closed, And NY Has More COVID Deaths\">political opponent<\/a> can be targeted and bankrupted through the legal system. They claim to be the party of the people, but in reality, they\u2064 are only interested in power and control.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, this type of manipulation \u200dis becoming all too common in American politics.\u200b We have seen it with the impeachment of Trump, where the Democrats used false accusations and a biased media to try to remove him from office. We have seen it with the constant attacks on conservative voices and the suppression of free speech.<\/p>\n<p>It is\u200b clear that our democracy is under attack. But it is up to us, the American people, to defend it. We must demand transparency, accountability, and fairness in our elections. We must reject the tactics of fear, division, and manipulation.<\/p>\n<p>We can no longer \u2062simply accept the status quo. We must stand up and fight for what is right. We must ensure that our elections are truly free and fair, and that every citizen has a voice and a vote that counts.<\/p>\n<p>The future of our democracy is at stake. It is time to take a stand and reclaim our country from those who would seek\u2064 to manipulate and control it for\u2063 their own gain.<\/p>\n<p>Let us remember the words of Abraham Lincoln, who said, &#8220;Elections belong to the people. It&#8217;s their decision. If they decide to turn their back on the fire and burn \u2062their behinds, then they will just have to sit on their blisters.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>We cannot\u2062 let our democracy burn.
