min-height: 50px; text-align: center;\">  \t<script>  \t\tgoogletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1663871513696-art-3'); });  \t<\/script>  <\/div>\n<div class=\"ad-slot__ad-label\">Advertisement<\/div>\n<\/p>\n<p>The study, conducted by the <em>Global Vaccine Data \u2063Network<\/em>, analyzed 99 million people who received \u200dthe vaccine in eight \u2064different countries and monitored\u2062 for increases in 13 medical conditions, according to \u200b <em>Bloomberg News<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Published in the journal Vaccine last week, the study showed a slight rise in neurological, blood, \u200dand heart-related medical conditions\u200c linked to the vaccines. <\/p>\n<p>Recent cases of myocarditis, inflammation\u2064 of the heart\u2063 muscle, \u200cwere\u200b found in individuals who received Pfizer-BioNTech&#8217;s and\u200d Moderna&#8217;s mRNA vaccines. <\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, pericarditis, inflammation \u2062of the cardiac muscle, had\u2062 a\u2063 6.9-fold increased risk in those\u200c who received a third dose of \u200dAstraZeneca&#8217;s vector \u200bshot,\u200d according to the study.<\/p>\n<p>Viral-vector \u2064shots, such as the one created by the University of Oxford and \u200cmanufactured by \u200dAstraZeneca,\u2064 also showed an increased risk of\u200b blood\u200c clots in the brain, as reported by <em>Bloomberg<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Additionally,\u2064 the Moderna\u200b vaccine was associated with a 3.8 times greater risk of\u200b developing the neurological disorder acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM). <\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning \u200cof\u200b the COVID pandemic, 13.5 billion COVID vaccines have been administered, according\u200b to <em>Our\u2062 World in Data<\/em>. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>&#8220;The \u200dsize of the population in this \u2062study \u2063increased \u200bthe possibility of identifying rare\u2064 potential\u200b vaccine safety signals,&#8221; said lead author Krist\u00fdna Faksov\u00e1 of the Department of Epidemiology Research, Statens Serum Institut in Denmark.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, \u2064despite these findings, vaccine experts who were not involved\u2064 in the study still argue \u2064that the benefits of the vaccines outweigh the risks.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>&#8220;The odds of all of these adverse \u200bevents are still much,\u200b much higher when infected\u200d with SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), so getting vaccinated is still \u200cby far the safer choice,&#8221;
