It&#8217;s a big year for\u2062 democracy!<\/p>\n<h3>March: Super \u200dTuesday and Beyond<\/h3>\n<p>The action kicks\u2062 off on March \u200c5 with\u200d Super Tuesday, when five states\u200b -\u200c Alabama,\u2062 Arkansas, \u200bCalifornia, North Carolina, \u2064and \u200bTexas -\u200d will\u2062 hold their primaries. But\u200b that&#8217;s\u2064 not all! California \u200cand Texas have Senate\u200b elections, and North Carolina will choose its next governor.<\/p>\n<p>As the month rolls on, Mississippi (March 12), Illinois, and\u2062 Ohio (March 19) will have their turn in \u200bthe primary spotlight. \u200dMississippi \u200band Ohio will \u200calso be holding Senate elections this year.<\/p>\n<h3>April: Runoffs and \u200bPennsylvania&#8217;s \u200cTurn<\/h3>\n<p>April 2 \u200cbrings \u2064runoffs \u200bin Alabama, Arkansas, and Mississippi for any \u2063necessary primaries held\u2062 in March. Meanwhile,\u200d Pennsylvania will \u2063hold its primary\u2064 for House and Senate races on April\u2063 23.<\/p>\n<h3>May: A \u2062Month of\u2062 Primaries<\/h3>\n<p>May is a busy month for primaries.\u2063 Indiana \u200cstarts things\u2062 off on May 7, followed by Maryland,\u200b Nebraska, \u200cand West Virginia on \u200bMay 14. West Virginia will \u200calso have \u2062a \u200cgubernatorial primary.<\/p>\n<p>May 21 is a\u200d big day\u200d with Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, and Oregon all holding their primaries.\u2064 Texas will also have runoffs for its March primaries on May 28.<\/p>\n<h3>June: The \u200cHeat is On<\/h3>\n<p>June \u200dis \u200ba hot month for primary contests, with\u200b 14 states in the mix. Iowa, Montana, New Jersey, New \u2063Mexico, and South Dakota kick things \u2062off \u2063on June 4. Montana, New Jersey, and New\u200b Mexico will have Senate primaries, and Montana will also \u2064have a \u200bgubernatorial \u200dprimary.<\/p>\n<p>A week later, on June 11, Maine, Nevada, North Dakota, and South \u200dCarolina\u2063 take\u2064 the stage. Senate primaries\u200b will be held \u2062in Maine, Nevada, and North Dakota, and North\u2063 Dakota \u200bwill also have a gubernatorial primary.<\/p>\n<p>June 18 brings us \u2062primaries in \u200dOklahoma \u200cand\u200d Virginia, \u200dincluding a Senate primary in\u2064 Virginia. On June \u206425, it&#8217;s Colorado,\u2063 New York, and Utah&#8217;s turn, with South Carolina holding runoffs for earlier \u200cprimaries. Delaware starts things off on Sept. 3, followed by New Hampshire and Rhode Island\u2062 on\u2062 Sept. 10.\u200c Rhode Island will \u2064have a\u2062 Senate primary, and New Hampshire will choose its\u200d next governor. Massachusetts wraps things\u2062 up on Sept. 17 with its House and Senate primaries.<\/p>\n<h3>November: \u200bDecision\u2063 Time<\/h3>\n<p>Mark \u200byour calendars for Nov. 5 &#8211; it&#8217;s the big\u200d day!
