Virginia Foxx (R-NC) subpoenaed Harvard Corporation senior fellow Penny Pritzker, interim \u2062President \u200bDr. Alan Garber, \u2062and Harvard Management Company \u2063CEO N.P. \u2062Narvekar in an effort \u2064to \u200cobtain \u201cpriority documents\u201d she says the\u2064 school has been withholding in the inquiry.<\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI am extremely disappointed in the path that Harvard has chosen to \u200dtake \u200bin the \u200bCommittee\u2019s investigation. Over the course \u200dof this investigation, Harvard has touted its willingness to work with the Committee, citing the thousands of pages of documents it has produced,\u201d Foxx\u200d said in a press release. \u201cHarvard\u2019s continued failure to satisfy the Committee\u2019s requests \u200dis unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u200d will not tolerate delay and defiance of our investigation while Harvard\u2019s Jewish students continue to endure the firestorm of antisemitism that has engulfed its campus,\u201d she continued. \u201cIf Harvard\u200b is truly committed to combating antisemitism, it has had \u2063every opportunity to demonstrate its commitment with\u2063 actions, not words.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The subpoenas came after Foxx fired a warning shot last \u200dweek, telling school leadership a subpoena was\u200c coming if they continued refusing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/oversight-members-outline-pattern-of-ethical-issues-at-granholms-energy-department\/\" title=\"Oversight Members Outline \u2018Pattern of Ethical Issues\u2019 at Granholm\u2019s Energy Department\">produce documents requested<\/a> by the committee. According to\u2064 the \u2062press release, the school \u2063has\u200c handed over \u200c2,516 pages related to the committee\u2019s investigation, but more than 40% of those records were\u200b publicly \u2062available\u2064 already. \u201cQuality \u2014 not quantity \u2014 is the Committee\u2019s concern,\u201d\u200b Foxx wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The committee informed Harvard of its investigation \u2062on Dec.\u2062 20 and requested \u200drelated documents \u2064from \u2062the\u2064 school Jan. 9, but Foxx has said the responses have been \u201cwoefully inadequate.\u201d For the\u2063 subpoenas\u200b asking\u2063 each of the three members of leadership for different documents, Foxx\u2063 set \u200ca \u200bdeadline of March 4.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHarvard has\u200b repeatedly failed to satisfy the \u200dCommittee\u2019s requests\u2064 within \u2062a reasonable timeframe, despite\u2064 being \u2064afforded several accommodations,\u201d each of\u2064 the three \u2062subpoenas began. \u201cThe limited and obfuscatory nature\u2063 of the productions \u200bthat Harvard\u2063 has provided in the last month has made \u200cclear that it is not treating\u2063 this\u200c congressional inquiry\u2062 with appropriate seriousness. Given Harvard\u2019s vast resources and the urgency with which it should be addressing the scourge of\u200b antisemitism, the evidence suggests that the school\u2062 is\u2064 obstructing this investigation and is willing to tolerate \u2062the proliferation of antisemitism on\u2062 its campus.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The requests\u200d for both Garber and Pritzker \u200dappear to \u2062be \u200bidentical, demanding documentation and\u2064 communications for \u201cantisemitic acts\u201d from various leadership departments dating \u200bback\u200d to Jan. 1, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The committee is also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-males-absent-from-biden-judicial-slate\/\" title=\"White Males Absent From Biden Judicial Slate\">seeking documents<\/a> pertaining \u200cto \u2063subsequent disciplinary actions from such acts targeting \u200d\u201cJews, Israelis, Israel, \u2064Zionists, or\u2062 Zionism,\u201d and similar \u200bactions taken against\u200b students who are members of those groups.<\/p>\n<p>Narvekar is\u200d only being\u200d asked for meeting minutes\u200d from \u200bthe \u2063Management \u200cCompany\u200d between the dates of Oct. 7, \u20642023, and Jan. 2,\u2063 2024, while Garbar and Pritzker \u2064are also required\u2064 to produce those records, as\u200b well as minutes from Harvard \u200dCorporation and Board of Overseers meetings from\u2064 the same time \u2064frame.<\/p>\n<p>Additional minutes and documents are\u200b being requested from the school\u2019s Antisemitism Advisory Group.<\/p>\n<p>Read the Alan Garber subpoena below:<\/p>\n<p>Alan Garber\u200d Subpoena by web-producers<\/p>\n<p>Read the Penny\u200d Pritzker subpoena \u2064below:<\/p>\n<p>Penny Pritzker Subpoena by web-producers<\/p>\n<p>Read the N.P.
