It would be difficult to convince a\u200c jury that they should convict\u200d him\u2014by then a former president well into his 80s\u2014of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Social\u200d media users online chimed in and argued that if the POTUS \u200dcannot be liable for stashing away secret documents since his memory is so bad, then why should he be allowed to still run the country? <\/p>\n<p>Alex Pfeiffer, the communications director for Make America Great Again Inc., a Super \u2064PAC\u200d supporting \u200dDonald Trump, essentially voiced the same sentiment as well.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re too senile to stand\u2063 trial, then you\u2019re too senile to be president. Joe Biden\u00a0is unfit to lead this nation,\u201d Pfeiffer said. <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In response, Biden gave a \u2063brief, last-minute address on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Biden asserted\u2063 in his comments\u2063 that\u2064 he was preoccupied with urgent matters\u200d during the five-hour interview he agreed to do regarding the document inquiry in the days following the\u200c attack\u200b on Israel on October 7<sup>th<\/sup>. He maintained that he was \u201cin the middle of handling an international crisis,\u201d\u2063 but still bragged that he took the time to speak with investigators.<\/p>\n<p>Later, after a reporter addressed Hur\u2019s report regarding Biden\u2019s failing memory, he seemed to become angrier and slightly embarrassed, stumbling\u2063 his words more\u2062 than usual. Biden\u2019s audio was even cut out at certain \u2064points.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cMy memory is fine!\u201d Biden declared.\u2063 <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>However, the U.S. Democrat president\u2063 also made a notable error in his remarks, mistaking \u2063the\u200b presidents of Mexico and Egypt in response to a question on the Israel-Gaza conflict. Biden called Israel\u2019s retaliatory response in Gaza\u00a0\u201cover the top\u201d\u00a0and then\u00a0mistakenly referred to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi as the \u2064President of Mexico.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cInitially, the \u200dpresident of\u200d Mexico, Sisi, did not want to open \u2063up the gate to allow humanitarian material to get in. I talked to him. He became visibly upset and started lashing out at reporters.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t need anyone to remind me when he passed away,\u201d Biden said on Thursday night, mentioning soon after that \u2062he wears his late son\u2019s rosary beads. However, when the president attempted to describe where the beads came from, he appeared to not remember\u200b and quickly moved on. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery Memorial Day, we hold\u200d a service remembering him \u200c [Beau], attended by friends and family and the people who loved \u2063him,\u201d Biden continued\u2063 after a long\u2062 pause. \u201cI don\u2019t need \u200canyone.
