But\u2064 it \u2064does mean that no one with any power in \u200dWashington wants Joe Biden to run for office again.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The day began with <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/special-counsel-biden-has-significantly-limited-memory-didnt-remember-when-he-was-vp-or-when-son-died\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a \u200dreport<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, prepared by Joe\u200b Biden\u2019s \u200bown DOJ, that outlines Biden\u2019s mental decline in excruciating detail. The topline conclusion, as you\u2019ve probably seen by now, is that the commander-in-chief is \u200cso far gone \u2014 so detached \u200dfrom reality \u2014 \u200cthat he \u2064can\u2019t\u200b even be charged \u2062with a crime. He\u2019s not legally responsible for \u200dhis own conduct at this point.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In \u200cinterviews with the\u2064 special counsel, Biden couldn\u2019t \u2062remember\u200b whether he was vice president in 2009. He couldn\u2019t pinpoint the date\u200b of his son Beau\u2019s death, even within a\u200b span of several years. Again, this is the conclusion of a \u200cspecial counsel working for \u200dJoe Biden\u2019s own Justice Department.\u2063 The special counsel determined, effectively, that \u2062the president of the United States is too mentally incompetent to \u200bbe held\u200b responsible for his \u2062own actions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This is \u2064the first time\u2062 in \u2064American history when \u200ba president\u2019s own Department of Justice has declared him, essentially, unfit for office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">And yet somehow, that was not the \u2063worst of\u2063 the \u2064bad news for Joe Biden yesterday. \u2062On about ten minutes\u2019 notice, the White House press office announced <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-explodes-during-press-conference-on-his-mental-fitness-makes-several-mental-mistakes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a press conference<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  at 7:45\u2062 p.m.\u200d Especially by\u200d Biden\u2019s standards, this is extremely unusual. It\u2019s rare enough for Biden to give a press conference at \u200dall, much \u2064less an\u200b unscheduled one in the evening. On top of that, Biden\u2019s\u200c handlers sent him out \u2063to the podium without a list of pre-approved journalists \u2064to call\u2063 on, which \u2062almost never happens. Grandpa\u2063 Joe was left to fend entirely \u2062for \u2062himself.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1312-biden-s-doj-declares-him-mentally-incompetent-and-unfit-for-office\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt \u2064Walsh Show<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Naturally, the press \u2064conference went pretty much exactly as you\u2019d expect \u200bit would, or maybe somehow even\u2064 worse. In fact, I don\u2019t think it\u2019s\u2063 hyperbole to say that Biden delivered \u200cthe single most catastrophic press conference I can remember in\u200b my lifetime. At \u200dno point did he allay any concerns about his competence \u2063or fitness for\u200b office. In fact, he did the opposite.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He made it abundantly clear\u2064 that he needs to be \u2064removed from office, immediately. And all \u2064of this is \u200deven more confounding \u200bwhen you consider that,\u200b again, given the time of \u200bday, the impromptu nature, the topic that Biden was out there to discuss, and the\u2064 fact that questions weren\u2019t picked \u200bahead of time, it was pretty much guaranteed to be \u2062a disaster. And it\u2019s a disaster that the White House\u2063 walked\u2063 right into, seemingly on purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@POTUS<\/a>: &#8220;There&#8217;s even reference that I don&#8217;t remember when my son died.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;How in the hell dare he raise that?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Frankly, when I was asked\u2063 the question, I thought to myself, it wasn&#8217;t any of their damned business.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/4vLr71HeFx\">pic.twitter.com\/4vLr71HeFx<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Andrew\u200b Bates \u2063(@AndrewJBates46) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewJBates46\/status\/1755761722432901543?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 9,\u2062 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So Joe\u2063 Biden doesn\u2019t deny that he couldn\u2019t remember when his son died. Nor does he explain how this topic came up, exactly. Of course, \u200cif you\u2019ve listened to Biden talk at\u2064 any \u2064point in the past few\u2064 years, you can assume he brought it up, unprompted, to garner sympathy \u200dwith the special counsel, because that\u2019s his usual strategy. \u200dBut Biden doesn\u2019t \u2064address any of this.\u2062 Instead, he \u200bjust lashes out angrily at the\u2064 prosecutor. Then he mentions a rosary but \u2062he can\u2019t remember where it\u2019s from.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It\u2019s not exactly a convincing performance \u2014 unless the point is to convince us that Biden is a vegetable. But it gets worse. Here\u2019s the first question Biden took, from Fox News\u2019s Peter Doocy:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">BIDEN: \u201cI\u2019m well-meaning and I\u2019m an elderly man and I \u2063know what the\u2062 hell I\u2019m doing!\u200c I\u2019m President \u2064and I \u2063put this country back on its feet!\u201d<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TCdYlZDDKM\">pic.twitter.com\/TCdYlZDDKM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breaking911 (@Breaking911) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Breaking911\/status\/1755762843612217601?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 9, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cMy memory\u200b is so bad I let you speak.\u201d That\u2019s the \u200dpresident of the United States, everyone. He\u2019s just\u2063 a\u200c well-meaning, elderly man who knows what the hell \u200che\u2019s doing. And if you ask \u200dhim about the fact he can\u2019t remember when his\u2063 son died, or when he was \u2062vice\u200b president, he\u2019ll \u200cimply \u2063that you should be prevented from speaking. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">No \u2063one in the room was laughing at this,\u2063 including journalists from Left-wing outlets. They apparently received the all-clear\u200c to \u200dask Biden some hard questions last night, because corporate\u2062 media doesn\u2019t want him to run again either. \u2063 <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So a CNN \u200breporter named MJ Lee pressed him with a simple and straightforward\u200b question about his\u200d mental capacity. And instead of calmly\u2063 answering the question, Joe \u2062Biden snapped \u200cat her. Watch:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Q: \u201cFor months when you were asked about \u2064your memory,\u200d you \u2064responded with the words, \u2018Watch me.\u2019 The American people have been watching and they have expressed concerns about your age and your mental acuity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>BIDEN: *Screams* \u201cThat&#8217;s your judgment.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pdNGXpP41w\">pic.twitter.com\/pdNGXpP41w<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 \u200dALX \ud83c\uddfa\ud83c\uddf8\u2064 (@alx) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/alx\/status\/1755764224624656774?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 9, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The CNN reporter wants to know if Biden is mentally stable. Biden \u2063barks at her.\u200d Then the \u200cCNN \u2062reporter suggests that maybe he isn\u2019t the \u2062best person to be running for office, and he doesn\u2019t have a \u200dconvincing answer to that question, either. We are witnessing the end of Biden\u2019s legitimacy, to the extent \u2062that he ever had any to\u2064 begin with. Even his once-reliable allies in the\u200b corporate \u2062press have turned on him. \u2064And you can see why.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">At one point, in\u2064 this emergency\u200d press conference that was supposedly intended \u200cto reassure Americans that the president is mentally \u2062competent, Biden \u200brefers to \u200cthe president of Egypt \u200bas the president of Mexico:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">HARD TO WATCH:\u200d While defending \u200chis mental acuity and memory loss, Biden mistakenly refers to Egyptian President El-Sisi as the President of Mexico <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dTcX6m00BO\">pic.twitter.com\/dTcX6m00BO<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Breaking911 (@Breaking911) \u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Breaking911\/status\/1755767509125415127?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 9, 2024<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Whoever arranged this press conference is either\u2064 criminally\u200c incompetent,\u2062 or they were \u200btrying \u2064to \u200csabotage Biden\u2019s candidacy. Those are the only two options. This was entirely \u2063predictable. Biden essentially confirmed everything the\u200b special\u2064 counsel \u2063said, he even called himself an elderly man in the \u200dpress conference. Which, of course, isn\u2019t news. \u2062We know he\u2019s elderly. But these\u2062 are not the kinds of\u200b things you should be saying in this situation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As I\u2062 mentioned earlier, the special counsel investigating Biden\u2019s handling \u2063of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/photos-show-bidens-classified-records-in-mangled-box-in-his-garage\/\" title=\"Biden's classified records found in damaged box in his garage, photos reveal\">classified documents \u2064found<\/a>:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In his interview\u200d with\u2062 our office, \u2063Mr. Biden\u2063 \u2026 did not remember \u200cwhen he was vice president, forgetting on \u200cthe first day of the \u2062interview\u200d when his term ended \u200c\u2026 and \u2063forgetting on the second day of the interview when his \u200dterm\u2062 began. \u2026 He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And \u2063his memory appeared hazy when \u2064describing the Afghanistan debate \u200dthat \u2063was once \u2062so \u200cimportant to him. \u2062Among \u2063other things, he\u2063 mistakenly said\u200d he \u2018had a real difference\u2019 of opinion with General Karl\u2063 Eikenberry, when, in fact, \u2062Eikenberry\u2062 was an ally \u2063whom Mr. Biden cited approvingly in his Thanksgiving memo to President Obama.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The memo \u200bcontinues:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We have also\u200b considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did \u200cduring our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, \u200belderly man with a poor memory.\u2063 Based on our \u200bdirect interactions with\u2062 and observations of him, he \u200bis someone\u200d for whom many jurors will\u2062 want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/special-counsel-bidens-classified-documents-mishandling-doesnt-warrant-charges\/\" title=\"Biden's mishandling of classified documents not deemed charge-worthy by Special Counsel\">identify reasonable doubt<\/a>. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him by then a\u2063 former president well into his eighties of a serious felony\u2063 that requires a mental state of willfulness.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Before I go any further, it needs to be mentioned that this reasoning is completely absurd. The only relevant information, for the purposes of bringing \u200ba criminal prosecution, is Biden\u2019s\u200b mental state \u200bwhen he committed \u2064the alleged crimes. And according to the special counsel, \u200bas far\u200c back as more than a decade ago, Joe Biden willfully retained and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/8-democrats-who-dismissed-joe-bidens-cognitive-decline\/\" title=\"8 Dems Who Ignored Biden's Cognitive Decline\">disclosed classified documents<\/a> with classification markings on them. That includes classified documents from \u200dhis time in the Senate several decades ago. The\u2062 documents were in his \u201cgarage, offices, and\u200c basement den,\u201d in both Virginia and Delaware. Again, Biden retained these documents many years ago. There\u2019s no suggestion that he had amnesia \u2062back then. So if that\u2019s a \u2062crime, he should be prosecuted for it. If he\u2019s not mentally competent to stand trial, that\u2019s a defense his lawyers can \u200braise after \u2063charges have been brought. It\u2019s not the \u2062special counsel\u2019s job to\u200b lay off on the charges because he\u2019s elderly now.\u200c That\u2019s especially true\u200c given that\u2063 the DOJ\u2064 is going after Donald\u2064 Trump for allegedly storing classified documents, even though Donald \u2063Trump (as president) had the authority to \u2063declassify whatever he wanted. Not to\u200c mention, \u2062if \u200dbeing elderly is a defense, Trump \u200cis elderly too.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But at this point,\u2064 no\u200b one is surprised by the \u2062fact that the DOJ is prosecuting Trump for a \u2064crime, while giving Biden a\u2063 pass for committing the exact same crime.\u200d That was\u2063 always\u200c a given.\u200c What is surprising, again, is why Joe Biden\u2019s handlers let\u200d him take questions last\u200c night in these circumstances. \u2064It\u2019s \u2062almost like\u200c they were setting him up for this disaster.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">That\u2019s especially\u2064 true\u2064 given the contrast between Biden\u2019s remarks and the interview last night between Tucker \u200dCarlson and Russian President Vladimir Putin.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Putin spoke with Tucker Carlson for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/tucker-carlson-presses-vladimir-putin-to-release-u-s-journalist-from-custody\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">two hours<\/a>, uninterrupted. In response to a question about why Russia invaded Ukraine,\u2063 Putin recounted the history of his \u200ccountry in exacting detail, going back centuries.\u2063 It was\u2062 dry but \u200cit was also informative. He\u200b was clearly lucid \u2063and clear-thinking. He was more than capable of sitting for a lengthy,\u2062 adversarial interview \u2063with a \u200bjournalist from \u200ca \u2063foreign\u2064 country. That\u2019s\u200d remarkable given that, for the past \u200byear, the media has told us that Putin was sick, frail, senile, and in hiding. That\u2019s obviously not \u200bthe case.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">It is the case with \u2064our \u2063president, though. \u200dWe\u2019re \u200ctold that Biden isn\u2019t competent enough to be\u2063 prosecuted, but is competent enough to have the most important\u2062 job in the world for another five years. He\u2019s immune from committing crimes \u200cdue to his lack of mental capacity, but\u2062 he can have the \u200dnuclear codes,\u2062 apparently. \u2062It\u2019s laughable, and everyone knows it. \u200bThey know that Biden has lost his mind. Now even the DOJ \u200chas confirmed it \u2014 \u200cit is a full-blown constitutional \u2064crisis if he stays in office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Of course, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-education-nominee-ignored-sexual-assault-allegations-lawsuit-charges\/\" title=\"Biden Education Nominee Ignored Sexual Assault Allegations, Lawsuit Charges\">double-edged sword<\/a> is that it\u2019s\u200c much better \u200bpolitically\u200c for Trump if he runs against Biden. Swapping Biden out for someone\u200c younger, \u2062who can \u2064speak in coherent sentences, would make things much more challenging for Trump. But politics \u200bare really a secondary concern at this point.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The truth is\u2064 that we simply cannot have a\u200b president who is not only senile, but is known to the world,\u2063 and to our adversaries, to be senile. He needs to resign. \u200dAnd if he won\u2019t \u2063resign, \u2064he needs to be removed from office.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">He can be a well-meaning elderly man with a poor memory who lives out the remainder of\u2063 his days off in obscurity somewhere, far away from \u2064the levers of power. The rest of us \u2063\u2014 people who intend to live in this country long after Biden \u2063is gone \u2014 simply cannot tolerate having him in the\u200c White House any longer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> Is party loyalty more \u200bimportant to the \u2062Democratic Party than the well-being of \u200dthe country, considering the support for Biden\u200c despite evidence of mental incompetence<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Raine in 2014, Putin spoke in detail about historical, \u200dgeopolitical, and security concerns. He\u200b presented a coherent and\u200b well-thought-out\u2062 argument, whether you agree with it or \u2063not.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, Biden couldn&#8217;t\u2062 even remember when he was vice president or when \u2063his son\u2063 died. He stumbled and struggled\u200b to express himself \u2062coherently, resorting to anger and defensiveness when questioned about \u200dhis \u2062mental capacity. The comparison between Putin and Biden \u200bcouldn&#8217;t be starker.<\/p>\n<p>This raises serious concerns about Biden&#8217;s\u200b ability to lead the country \u2062effectively. The president of the United States needs to \u200chave\u200c a\u200c sharp \u2063mind, sound judgment, and \u2062a strong grasp on reality. \u2063Biden&#8217;s mental decline,\u2062 as outlined\u200c by his own Department of Justice&#8217;s report, should be\u2063 a\u2062 cause for alarm for every American.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2062 is deeply troubling that the\u2063 Democratic Party continues to \u200dstand behind Biden, even in the \u200cface of overwhelming evidence of\u200b his mental \u200dincompetence. It begs the\u2064 question: Is party loyalty more important than the well-being of the country?<\/p>\n<p>But perhaps the \u2063most \u2062alarming\u200b aspect of all this is the possibility that \u200dBiden&#8217;s handlers,\u2064 whether intentionally or\u200b not, are \u200bsabotaging his candidacy. Allowing him to give an impromptu \u200cpress conference without prepared journalists or scripted responses is a recipe for disaster. It&#8217;s almost as if \u2062they\u2064 want \u2063him to \u2063fail.<\/p>\n<p>Regardless of \u200bthe reasons behind the events\u2062 of yesterday, one thing is clear: Joe Biden\u2063 is not fit to be the Democratic\u2063 Party&#8217;s nominee for president.\u2063 Whether or not \u2063he will ultimately be replaced remains to be seen. But yesterday&#8217;s events serve as a stark reminder that the future of the Democratic \u2063Party \u2064cannot \u2062rest on the shoulders of a mentally unfit\u200b leader.<\/p>\n<p>The American people deserve better. They deserve a leader \u2064who can inspire confidence, make tough\u200b decisions, and effectively represent their interests on\u200d the world stage. It&#8217;s time for the Democratic Party to face reality and find \u200da viable alternative to Joe \u2063Biden.
