They were told they could be \u2064just like men, work\u2064 40 hours a week, and love it.\u2064 However, the \u200ctruth is far \u200dfrom glorious. Many Gen Z women are struggling to \u200d<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/under-trump-americans-have-seen-their-best-wage-growth-in-40-years\/\" title=\"Under Trump, Americans Have Seen Their Best Wage Growth In 40 Years\">make ends meet<\/a>, working\u200b long hours, and sacrificing personal time.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/the-vulnerability-that-will-plague-generation-tiktoks-future\"><strong>The realization \u2063Gen Z<\/strong><\/a>  is coming \u2063to has\u2062 been a topic of extensive discussion. Eliza, known as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@supposedlyasystem\">@supposedlyasystem<\/a>, recently shared her feelings on \u200bTikTok, expressing her frustration with working 40 hours a week for little pay.\u2063 In a\u200b tearful monologue, she questions why she has\u2062 to endure\u2063 such exhaustion just to afford basic living expenses.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><i>&#8220;Why is \u200dit that I have to work\u2064 40 hours a week\u2062 just\u200b so I \u200bcan have a place to live? &#8230; \u2064I work 40 \u200dhours a week so\u2062 I can\u200b have \u200ca two-bedroom apartment and an extra $300\u2064 a month. &#8230;\u200c So not\u2063 only do I not\u200c have any extra money, but just working\u2064 makes me so exhausted that I don\u2019t have time either. \u200cLike, I get off work\u2063 at 5:30, \u2062I\u2063 come home\u200b and I am\u200d just so tired. I\u2019m so tired\u2026\u2063 I don\u2019t want to do that anymore, \u2063right? I don\u2019t care how \u2063poor and \u200bmiserable I would have to be, but \u200cI literally can\u2019t have a\u200b place to live without this. You know, like, I don\u2019t\u200b know what to\u2064 do. I\u2019m not made for this.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Eliza&#8217;s video has faced ridicule, but she\u2063 is not alone in \u200cher sentiments. Many \u2063Gen Zers share her frustrations. So, \u200cwhy \u200dis this the reality?\u200d The answer lies in the \u2063misguided ideals of previous\u2062 feminists who insisted that women could \u2062be just like men.<\/p>\n<p>Women are not identical to men biologically; we have different\u2062 roles in life. However, feminists propagated the belief that women could be the same as \u200bmen. They encouraged \u2063women \u200dto take\u2064 birth control to \u2062avoid pregnancy and urged \u2062them \u2064to \u2062work \u2064alongside men in the same capacity.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/media-meltdown-tucker-carlson-is-with-vladimir-putin-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: Candace Owens<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Now, in 2024, women\u200b are \u200drealizing that perhaps Mother Nature had it \u2062right all along. Despite \u200dthe freedom they were promised, many\u200d women find\u200d themselves unhappy living this \u2063so-called &#8220;dream.&#8221; Maybe embracing the ability to bear\u200c children and\u2062 the natural inclination to raise them\u2064 is a more fulfilling \u200bpath for\u2063 women. Women possess unique skills in caring for \u2062children and managing households, while \u2063men are biologically\u200d predisposed to repetitive work.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, women are still clinging to the feminist narrative, even though it \u200bfails to\u2062 bring them happiness. This dream may\u2063 help pay the \u200bbills,\u200d but in the past, women would have \u200dsought a partner, married, and focused on raising children. \u2063The husband would have provided for the\u200d family, and\u200c women\u200c would have found fulfillment \u200din their domestic roles.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking from personal experience, I can say that\u200d my grandmother, who dedicated herself\u200c to raising her children, didn&#8217;t cry every day from the stresses of motherhood. She found fulfillment in managing the\u2064 household and caring for\u200d her family. Similarly, spending the entire day with my own\u2062 children, though exhausting, brings me \u2064deep\u2063 satisfaction that no office job can match.<\/p>\n<p>Not every woman feels as overwhelmed as\u200d the Gen Zers sharing their\u2062 trauma, but a significant number of women are dissatisfied with their lives. It&#8217;s time to acknowledge that continuing to embrace this radical feminist movement is \u2064our own fault. We shouldn&#8217;t look down on \u200cwomen who recognize the flaws \u2063of this &#8220;dream.&#8221; \u2062Instead, we\u200d should all be heading in their\u2063 direction.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> \u2064 How does the\u2063 gender \u2062pay gap perpetuate the belief that women should strive to be like men \u200cin order to achieve equality?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Belief that women should\u2062 strive to be like men in order to\u200b achieve equality. Despite the progress that has been \u200bmade, women continue to \u200dearn less than men\u200c for doing\u200c the same job.\u200d This wage disparity not \u200conly hampers their financial \u200dindependence but also perpetuates the idea that their work is not as valuable as that of their male counterparts.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the expectations placed on women \u200cin\u200b the workforce often clash with their desire to have \u2064a fulfilling personal life.
