The \u200b$118 billion boondoggle is dead\u2062 on arrival\u200d in the House. For Democrats and their \u200baccomplice media, however,\u200c the\u2064 legislation and House Republicans&#8217; response to it are going exactly\u200d as planned.<\/p>\n<p>Not only \u200bdid national \u2064disgrace Sen. Mitch\u2063 McConnell (feat. useful idiot James Lankford) work tirelessly with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on \u200dthis bill to keep America&#8217;s borders \u200copen, give out amnesty Oprah-style, and \u2062write \u2062more blank checks\u200c to Ukraine and\u2063 Hamas sympathizers\u2063 in the Middle East, they also helped the corrupt corporate media run \u200ca propaganda operation against House Republicans and \u2064the rest \u200bof the GOP. Worse, they&#8217;re deliberately running\u200c it during an\u2064 election year to boost \u2064Joe Biden on \u200dthe border issue \u2014 which the near-dead incumbent \u2064has \u2064aided and abetted, and voters say \u200cis\u200c top of mind next\u2064 to Bidenomics.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-566395247\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f69cc58e010d9d7105ef10c88c97acd1 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-f69cc58e010d9d7105ef10c88c97acd1\"><\/div>\n<p>The Republican-majority\u2062 House predictably isn&#8217;t going for the bill. Why would they?\u2062 It would \u200dallow\u2063 nearly 2 million illegal\u2063 aliens into the country in one year \u2014 as long as the numbers\u2063 stay\u2062 below \u20625,000\u2064 entries per day for seven consecutive days, or below 8,500 border encounters\u200d in a\u200d single day \u2014 before triggering &#8220;emergency authority&#8221; \u200cfor the\u200d Department\u2062 of Homeland Security and closing the border. \u2064Even then there \u2064are exceptions.<\/p>\n<p>Worse,\u2062 if \u200bBiden decides it&#8217;s in\u200c the &#8220;national interest&#8221;\u200d to beckon some more <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/peterschweizer\/status\/1754575997473628585\">Democrat representation padding<\/a> \u200d and likely future voters across the Rio Grande, he\u2064 can unilaterally suspend the border closure for 45 days per year. There&#8217;s more where\u2063 that came from.<\/p>\n<p>If GOP \u200dmembers of\u200c Congress had taken the bait, Democrats would have come out on top, having convinced\u2062 their political foes not only\u200b to continue funding a no-win forever war in Eastern\u200c Europe but \u200balso to keep <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/illinois-gov-pritzker-says-ron-desantis-isnt-smart-enough-to-be-president\/\" title=\"Pritzker: DeSantis lacks intelligence for presidency.\">letting illegal aliens<\/a> into the country\u200b virtually unrestricted. Bonus: A codified open border could hamstring &#8220;the fixer&#8221; Donald Trump if he wins the general election later this year, zapping \u2064his political power to rehabilitate U.S. security \u200cand sovereignty.<\/p>\n<p>Yet even without\u2062 the House conceding to the bill,\u2064 Democrats win anyway. Now\u200d Biden and his accomplice media can simply blame Republicans for not solving the crisis \u2063this administration caused. That&#8217;s exactly what&#8217;s happening, starting with Biden pointing fingers at Republicans:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\">\n<p>&#8220;Working with my\u200d administration, the United States Senate has done the hard work it takes to reach a bipartisan agreement. \u2064Now, House\u2062 Republicans have to decide.\u200b Do they want to solve the problem? Or do they want to\u2063 keep playing\u2063 politics with the border?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Biden&#8217;s media lapdogs dutifully advanced the narrative, which \u2062they&#8217;d already\u2064 been spinning before the text of \u2064the bill was even \u2062released.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;GOP Blames \u2062Biden for Border Crisis \u2063That \u200bGOP Refuses to \u200bSolve,&#8221; blared one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thedailybeast.com\/gop-blames-biden-for-border-crisis-that-gop-refuses-to-solve#:~:text=Over%20and%20over%2C%20Republicans%20pointed,AR)%20told%20The%20Daily%20Beast.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily\u2062 Beast<\/a> headline. &#8220;Republicans are yelling about a\u200c crisis\u2064 at the \u200cborder. But they&#8217;re also unwilling to do\u200d anything to\u2063 address it for \u2062fear\u2064 that it&#8217;d give Joe Biden a political win,&#8221; the subheading continued, taking its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/aoc-republicans-using-woke-as-derogatory-euphemism-for-civil-rights\/\" title=\"AOC: Republicans Using 'Woke' as 'Derogatory Euphemism for Civil Rights'\">talking points straight<\/a> from the president and Senate Democrats \u200dlike <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bCebyWBKlZs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Chris Murphy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Why Republicans Don&#8217;t Want To Solve the Border Problem \u2014 But do want to\u2062 make deals to cut taxes,&#8221; read another \u2063headline in <a href=\"https:\/\/nymag.com\/intelligencer\/2024\/02\/why-republicans-dont-want-to-solve-the-border-problem.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New \u2064York Magazine&#8217;s \u200cIntelligencer<\/a> by Jonathan Chait.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Republicans Who \u2063Screamed About A Crisis On The Border Now Oppose A Plan\u2063 To Fix It,&#8221; said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/republicans-border-deal-donald-trump_n_65b80899e4b0102bd2d5c0d4\">HuffPost<\/a>, claiming Republicans oppose the border bill not because it&#8217;s nightmarish but because they want to \u2064hurt Biden. &#8220;Border Patrol Supports &#8216;Strong&#8217; Immigration Deal. Republicans Don&#8217;t Care,&#8221;\u200b wrote\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/politics\/politics-news\/border-patrol-supports-immigration-reform-bill-republicans-1234962111\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rolling Stone<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-68998c41a46426b22089cd522072573e fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-10\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-68998c41a46426b22089cd522072573e\"><\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/news\/republicans-cast-doubt-on-bipartisan-border-deal\">Vanity Fair<\/a> \u2062claimed, \u2063&#8221;Republicans\u2063 Don&#8217;t \u200dWant to Lose \u200dTheir Favorite 2024 Talking Point,&#8221; with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/opinion\/articles\/2024-01-20\/house-gop-threats-to-kill-immigration-deal-show-they-re-not-serious-about-border\">Bloomberg<\/a> \u200c opting for \u200ba simple, &#8220;House Republicans Don&#8217;t Want to Fix the\u200b Border.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Cable television has been as bad. A host of <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Morning_Joe\/status\/1754867903013282227?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MSNBC&#8217;s &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221;<\/a> said the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/thom-tillis-blasts-immoral-plan-to-sink-border-deal-in-order-to-help-trump\/\" title=\"Thom Tillis criticizes 'immoral' plot to sabotage border agreement for Trump's benefit\">bipartisan \u200bborder deal<\/a> is doomed to\u2062 fail &#8230; because\u2063 Republicans have turned on it.&#8221; The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bCebyWBKlZs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Today&#8221; \u200dshow<\/a> \u2064 framed the \u2064gridlock as Republicans &#8220;threaten[ing] to block the border bill they negotiated,&#8221; \u2064as if McConnell and his sidekick colluding with\u2062 Democrats behind closed doors \u200camounts \u2064to a good-faith bipartisan negotiation.<\/p>\n<p>This\u2062 run-of-the-mill propaganda is to be \u200dexpected \u200dfrom the \u200bcorporate media, but it&#8217;s just so brazen considering Republicans&#8217;\u2064 efforts to secure the border earlier\u2062 in Biden&#8217;s term and \u200bDemocrats&#8217; subsequent \u2062refusal to cooperate.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;re all old enough to remember less than a year ago when the House passed a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texastribune.org\/2023\/05\/11\/congress-texas-republicans-border-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">stronger border \u200cbill<\/a> that would have restarted Trump-era border \u2062wall construction, required aliens to remain in Mexico\u2063 while \u200bwaiting out\u2062 their usually fraudulent\u2063 asylum claims, restricted\u200b asylum eligibility to legal ports of entry, \u200cenacted harsher punishments for \u2064overstaying expired visas, kept Title 42-esque &#8220;expulsion authority&#8221; \u200bin place, and\u2062 supplied border \u2064authorities \u200bwith \u2062additional grant funding. Senate Democrats \u2064wouldn&#8217;t lift a\u2063 finger.<\/p>\n<p>But sure. It&#8217;s Republicans &#8220;playing politics.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1d096b25fd5a648a93122d73699629b7 fdrlst__b89e9-after-post-content\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-1d096b25fd5a648a93122d73699629b7\"><\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\">\n<\/div>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> How \u200bare the Democrats and\u200d their media \u2062allies \u200busing the border bill as a political tool?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Pinion\/articles\/2022-02-15\/republicans-must-resist-the-temptation-to-play-politics-and-support-the-border-bill-against-american-security&#8221;>Bloomberg<\/a> stating, &#8220;Republicans Must Resist the \u2064Temptation\u200d to \u200cPlay\u200d \u200dPolitics and Support the Border Bill Against American Security.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>These\u2063 headlines and \u2062articles are a clear illustration of how\u200b the Democrats and their accomplice media are using the border bill as a political tool \u200dto attack Republicans and \u2064promote their \u2063own agenda. By framing Republicans as the ones responsible for the border crisis, they are deflecting blame from the\u2062 Biden administration, which has\u200b all but abandoned border security. It is a classic \u2064example of\u2063 gaslighting, trying to\u200c convince the \u200dpublic that \u200bup is down and left is right.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is that the border \u200cbill is \u200ca disaster waiting to happen. It will not only allow nearly 2 million \u2063illegal aliens\u2064 into the country but \u200balso undermine national \u200dsecurity by giving the Department of Homeland \u200dSecurity limited authority to close\u200c the border. This is a clear violation of our sovereignty and\u2062 a threat to American citizens.\u2063 It is astonishing that any\u2062 politician would support such a bill, let \u2063alone try to pressure Republicans into doing so.<\/p>\n<p>But the \u200cDemocrats\u200c and their media allies are \u200cnot concerned with the well-being\u200b of the \u2063American people or the security of our\u2064 nation. They are\u200d only\u200b interested\u2062 in promoting their own political interests and pushing \u2062their radical\u2064 agenda. They see the border bill as an opportunity to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/knowles-the-bad-faith-debate-over-cancel-culture\/\" title=\"KNOWLES: The Bad Faith Debate Over \u2018Cancel Culture\u2019\">score political points<\/a> and\u2064 give Joe Biden a win \u2064on the border issue, which\u200b is \u2062a top concern for \u2064many Americans.<\/p>\n<p>It is \u200cimportant \u2064for Republicans and any politician\u200c who truly cares \u200babout American security to resist the temptation to play politics and support \u200dthe\u200d border bill. \u2064The \u200bconsequences of such a decision would be catastrophic for our country. We cannot afford to compromise our national security and allow illegal aliens to \u2062flood into our \u200bcountry\u2062 unchecked.<\/p>\n<p>The Republicans must\u2062 stand firm and reject this dangerous bill. They\u2064 must\u200c expose the Democrats&#8217; political game\u2064 and hold \u200bthem accountable \u2064for their failures \u2063on border\u200b security.
