In\u200d 2020, Trump saw strong numbers among Hispanics who do not have college degrees specifically. Of Hispanics\u2063 without \u200c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/watch-biden-with-a-straight-face-tells-a-story-of-something-that-never-happened\/\" title=\"Biden tells fictional story with a straight face.\">college\u200c degrees<\/a>, <strong>41%<\/strong> opted for\u2063 Trump, compared \u2064to <strong>30%<\/strong> who reported having a degree.<\/p>\n<p>The trend\u2062 among Hispanic voters\u200d is evidence of \u200ca\u2063 larger threat to Biden among working-class minorities. A New\u2062 York Times\/Siena College poll\u200c last year showed\u2062 the president failing to garner a majority of non-college-educated minorities. In the survey,\u200b Biden\u200b fell short of a majority, with <strong>49%<\/strong> of the group. Trump\u200b garnered <strong>33%<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think we\u2019ll capture our highest \u2064percentage, potentially up \u200bto <strong>40%<\/strong> and higher,\u201d Nevada Republican strategist Jeremy Hughes predicted for November.<\/p>\n<p>He said many Hispanics in Nevada are union members, particularly the men, and they are drawn to Trump\u2019s appeals to workers.<\/p>\n<p>As some signal concern for Democrats\u200b in the 2024 election, \u200dformer Democratic Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak\u2064 expressed confidence that Latino support for \u200cBiden isn\u2019t\u2062 faltering. \u201cI\u2064 don\u2019t think it\u2019s eroding,\u201d he said. \u201cI \u200dthink we need to do a\u200b better job getting out \u2064the \u2063message \u200dabout all the\u2063 good things that we\u2019ve \u2063done, the accomplishments\u2064 we\u2019ve made, and that\u2019s gonna \u200cchange \u2064people\u2019s lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Asked if Biden was effectively doing this, he said, \u201cI think he\u2019s doing \u2064better. We got a lot more \u200bto do.\u200b A lot \u2063more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In efforts to\u200c ensure they don\u2019t lose \u2063ground to Trump with these \u2062minority groups, including Latinos\u200c and\u2064 Hispanics, the \u2064Nevada \u2064State Democratic Party, the Democratic National Committee, and the Biden campaign \u200dhave launched initiatives to shore up \u200bsupport. \u201cWe\u2019ve done six-figure ad buys here \u2062targeting Latino,\u200d black, and AAPI \u200dcommunities to highlight what\u2019s \u2062at stake\u2063 for voters of color ahead of the 2024 \u200dprimary,\u201d Nevada State Democratic Party Executive Director Hilary Barrett said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know \u2062in Nevada that\u200c these\u200c communities are crucial\u2064 to our\u200d voter \u2063base,\u201d\u2062 she said. \u201cWe make sure that we\u2019re investing in year-round organizing, that we\u2019re talking to these voters\u2063 early \u200cand as often as possible,\u200c that we\u2019re hiring folks from within these communities that are the best messengers to help \u200bus\u200c amplify all the good \u200dwork that we\u2019re doing for all of our communities, and especially our communities of \u2063color.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However,\u200d some of those efforts could prove moot. Guzman said the Latino vote will come down to how the economy is working for them and their children\u2019s education. \u201cIt\u2019ll be based on how their wallet \u200dlooks\u200b and\u2062 education \u200dof their children because school \u2063choice is becoming a big deal with the Hispanic\u2063 community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>As\u200b for the economy, \u200bwhich has seen numerous positive \u2064indicators\u200b under Biden, he said,\u2064 \u201cThey\u2019re hearing that\u200d from news agencies,\u2063 [but] \u2064they\u2019re \u200dnot feeling that\u200b right \u2063when \u2064they go to the gas pump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGas is \u2062still way higher than\u200b it \u2064was before, \u2064and he\u2019s gonna pay a price for that,\u201d Guzman said of Biden.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2063 acknowledged this \u200dSunday at a\u2063 North \u2062Las \u200dVegas\u200b campaign event. \u201cWe \u2063know we have \u200ba lot\u200d more to do,\u201d\u2062 he said. \u200c\u201cNot everyone is feeling the benefits\u2062 of\u2064 our investments in \u2064progress yet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When it comes to schools, Guzman further detailed mothers being extremely \u200cunhappy with COVID-19 shutdowns and the child\u200c learning loss associated with them. \u201cThat really upset a\u2064 lot of Latino moms,\u201d \u2064Guzman claimed.<\/p>\n<p>Hughes said Hispanic and \u2062Latino\u200b voters\u2063 in Nevada won\u2019t be guided by the endorsements\u2062 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/report-libs-discouraged-after-months-of-getting-owned-by-kyrsten-sinema\/\" title=\"Report: Libs \u2018Discouraged\u2019 After Months of Getting Owned by Kyrsten Sinema\">national advocacy groups<\/a>, pointing to \u200cthe diversity \u200dwithin the \u200bdemographic. \u201cI don\u2019t think a Hispanic voter\u2064 in Nevada really cares what a national group of Democrats say,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNobody cares about that,\u201d\u2062 he said.<\/p>\n<p>One tool Biden and \u200dDemocrats have \u2063been able to\u2064 use to\u200d energize their voters\u2064 has \u2063been \u200cabortion, \u200cbut Guzman said \u200dthat this tactic \u2063isn\u2019t going\u2063 to be as effective in Nevada because abortions are\u200d legal. It is also a particularly \u201ctricky\u201d \u2063matter among Latinos, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s hope\u200b to ramp\u2064 up his support by painting Trump \u2064as\u200d a threat to democracy may also fall\u2062 flat, \u2062per Guzman. \u201cIt\u2019s\u2062 all noise,\u201d\u200b he said of Trump\u2019s various legal problems and Democrats\u2019 reminders of \u2062the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. \u201cThe numbers here have actually gone up for\u200d Trump and \u200dacross the board,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>As for winning over Hispanics and \u200bLatinos\u2063 on \u2062the matters of immigration and border security, it could go\u200c either way.\u2062 Per College Democrats National President Carolyn \u2062Salvador Avila, who supports Biden, \u201cWe have to take baby steps\u201d \u200don immigration and border security. She told the\u200c Washington Examiner she was supportive of Biden\u2019s commitment to sign the \u2063Senate\u2019s negotiated bipartisan border deal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got to make sure \u200cthat we\u2019re making at least some progress,\u201d she said. \u201cSo\u200c I\u2019m proud of what Biden is trying\u2064 to get accomplished.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, \u2063Guzman said Latinos in\u2063 Nevada \u201cabsolutely understand border\u200b security, and they do not agree with open \u2062borders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But, he\u200c said, \u201cThey\u2019re offput\u200b by being called criminals, \u2064rapists, and murderers,\u201d in reference\u2062 to comments from Trump. \u201cThat doesn\u2019t go over well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said that if Trump were \u200cto \u200davoid rhetoric similar \u200bto that and \u201ckeep it about border security, crime,\u2063 and safety,\u201d it \u2062would \u2064resonate with the community.<\/p>\n<p>In the latest Morning Consult\/Bloomberg poll of Nevadans, \u200bTrump bested Biden <strong>48%<\/strong> to <strong>40%<\/strong>. \u2062Trump lost the \u2063state\u200c to\u2064 Biden in 2020 by less than 3 points.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday,\u200d Trump is expected\u2062 to\u200c sweep nearly all \u200dof the Nevada Republican Party\u2019s 26 delegates, as former U.S. \u200cAmbassador\u2064 to\u2063 the United Nations \u200cNikki\u200d Haley opted against filing for the GOP\u2064 caucuses.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> What criticisms have conservatives raised regarding Biden&#8217;s immigration policies and\u2062 their potential impact on the influx\u2062 of illegal immigrants?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Utilize to appeal\u200d to Hispanic \u200band Latino voters is their immigration\u2064 policies.
