In fact, he warned that supporting this bill could spell the end of Republicans&#8217; political careers.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;This is a Democrat trap. It&#8217;s a trap for Republicans \u2063that would be so stupid, so foolish, to sign a bill \u200clike this. \u2063This bill can&#8217;t be signed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The 370-page bill, which was released on Sunday, includes a whopping $118.3 billion in total funding. It allocates $60 billion\u2062 for Ukraine, $20 billion for U.S. border security, and grants President Joe Biden&#8217;s request for \u200c$14 million to aid Israel in its conflict with Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>House Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader Steve\u2062 Scalise wasted no time denouncing the bill. Johnson took to social \u2063media to declare that the bill would\u2064 be &#8220;dead on\u2064 arrival&#8221; \u200bif it reached the House without any changes. Scalise echoed this sentiment, stating that the bill, as it stands, would \u200dnot even be put up\u200b for a vote in the \u2062House.<\/p>\n<p>Trump agreed with the House Republicans&#8217; \u200dassessment, calling \u200cthe bill &#8220;one of the worst&#8221; \u200band &#8220;one of the dumbest&#8221; he&#8217;s ever seen.
