Today, we are still in touch and check in with each other often.<\/p>\n<h3>A Life \u200bTransformed<\/h3>\n<p>Nothing could mar the\u2064 joy of \u2062welcoming my \u200cbeautiful, healthy daughter, Amelia, \u2063into the world with no complications just a few months\u2063 later. Today, Amelia is\u2063 a chubby, adorable nine-month-old whose bubbly giggles and \u2063baby talk fill my\u200c home with love and peace.\u200d I love watching \u2063her grow and hit all her milestones. Just recently, she \u2062took her first steps! She is my whole world.<\/p>\n<p>I thought my life was over when I first\u2063 discovered \u2064I was\u200d pregnant with\u2064 Amelia. Yet my pregnancy with\u200c her ultimately helped \u2063me make the necessary changes to turn my life around \u2014\u200d such as cutting ties with my abusive ex,\u200d working toward finishing my education, becoming more \u200bselfless, and learning more\u200d about myself as I\u200d find joy in the daily life as \u200ca stay-at-home mom. It\u2019s also blessed me with closer relationships with\u2062 my \u2064mother and sister, who live\u2062 nearby and help so often.<\/p>\n<p>Looking back, I am so grateful for APR \u200cand the women \u200bwho stepped up \u200cto help \u2063me save my baby\u2019s life before it was\u200c too late.
