(Photo by Samuel Corum\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h5>OAN Newsroom<br \/>UPDATED 1:50 PM PT \u2013 Friday, March 12, 2021<\/h5>\n<p>Former Homeland Security acting secretary Chad Wolf said the Biden administration\u2019s border policies are fueling the immigration crisis seen right now.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview this week, Wolf explained the Trump administration had the most secure border seen in some time. This, however has been replaced with the failed \u201ccatch and release\u201d policy. He said until the administration gets serious about enforcing the rule of law, they will continue to see the crisis unfold and the number of migrants spiral out of control.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChadFWolf?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@ChadFWolf<\/a> on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/CPACNow?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#CPACNow<\/a>: Until the Biden administration decides to get serious about enforcement, the <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/BidenBorderCrisis?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#BidenBorderCrisis<\/a> will continue to unfold. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/HUWByowCaM\">pic.twitter.com\/HUWByowCaM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 CPAC 2021 (@CPAC) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/CPAC\/status\/1370120700611211269?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 11, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cThe only way that you end a crisis like this is to have strong enforcement, a strong deterrent message and not let these individuals in,\u201d Wolf stated. \u201cAs long as we keep funding reception centers, as long as we keep allowing these individuals to come in and remain here in the U.S., you\u2019re going to continue to see the numbers increase.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wolf added the administration\u2019s message of \u201cyou can come, but don\u2019t come now\u201d is dangerous.
