They seem to be quite the unusual whales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Committee reopened its probe into Gaetz in July 2023 after the DOJ asked it to delay its initial probe into the congressman. The DOJ\u2019s probe ended without no charges against Gaetz.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was cleared by the Department of Justice and the FBI, who looked into my life for years,\u201d Gaetz said over the summer. \u201cNow, I believe that the House Ethics Committee is trying to weaponize their process against me because every once in a while up here I\u2019m a rabble-rouser and I don\u2019t go along to get along.
