If she cannot pull\u2062 off a win or\u2063 close second-place finish, she \u200dwill <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/muslim-leaders-in-swing-states-pledge-to-abandon-biden-in-2024\/\" title=\"Muslim leaders in key swing states vow to withdraw support for Biden in the upcoming 2024 election\">face growing pressure<\/a> to \u2063drop out. But I\u2064 think it\u2019s going to help her a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe needs to win here,\u201d stressed\u2062 Carole Alfano, a longtime Exeter, New\u2063 Hampshire, resident. \u201cA super-close second she stays in the game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2064 think \u200cit\u2019s going\u2062 to be \u2063tough, but I\u2019m really hoping that\u200d she will \u200cpull off one of the biggest upsets in New Hampshire history,\u201d Alfano said.<\/p>\n<p>Yet some New Hampshire residents\u200d were\u2062 skeptical \u200bHaley could eke out a win\u200d against Trump.<\/p>\n<p>Scott Faiia, a 72-year-old retiree from Hampton Falls, \u2062attended a Haley event in Seabrook \u2062on Sunday\u200d in which Haley was\u2062 jubilant after news broke that DeSantis had suspended \u200bhis campaign. Faiia, \u2064however, was unimpressed.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>\u201cIt \u200cwas not very in-depth. \u200dSo, it\u2019s difficult\u2064 to make any kind\u2063 of judgment,\u201d \u2064he \u2063said. \u201cI\u2063 mean, I \u2063didn\u2019t learn anything today except that \u200cshe knows how to smile and take selfies.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>DeSantis had \u2063staked his campaign on winning the Iowa caucuses but dropped out\u200c a week after finishing in \u2064second place \u200bbut 30 points \u2063behind Trump.<\/p>\n<p>The move could\u200b benefit Trump in New Hampshire \u2014 DeSantis endorsed the former president\u2062 in announcing the end \u2062of his campaign.
