Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) has made a bold accusation against the former chairman of the now-dissolved Jan. \u200d6 committee, claiming that committee\u2062 data was improperly archived. The committee&#8217;s work led \u200dto the referral of \u2063former President Donald\u2064 Trump to the Department\u2063 of Justice \u200cfor his alleged\u200c role in the Jan. 6 riot.<\/p>\n<p>Loudermilk\u2062 pointed out that the available data on the House clerk&#8217;s hard drives fell short of the\u2064 4 TBs of data that the committee claimed to have \u200caccumulated, which he deemed a \u2063violation\u2063 of House rules.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, a digital forensic\u200b team hired by\u200c Loudermilk&#8217;s subcommittee discovered 117 deleted files on Jan. 1, 2023.
