On Sunday, \u200cthat\u2019s\u2063 exactly what \u2063happened. Facing \u2063the prospect of \u2064a distant third-place finish in the New Hampshire primary, DeSantis bowed out and endorsed Donald Trump.<\/p>\n<p>On one hand,\u2062 the disappointment from \u200cDeSantis\u2019 supporters is \u2064understandable. \u200bHe\u2019s a fantastic governor\u2063 who\u2019s more \u200beffective at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/former-vice-president-mike-pence-joins-the-heritage-foundation\/\" title=\"Former Vice President Mike Pence Joins The Heritage Foundation\">advancing conservative policies<\/a> than \u2064any other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/vicious-libel-aoc-blasted-after-implying-israel-keeps-palestinian-children-in-cages\/\" title=\"\u2018Vicious Libel\u2019: AOC Blasted After Implying Israel Keeps Palestinian Children In Cages\">politician alive today<\/a>. There\u2019s no doubting that.<\/p>\n<p>At the\u2063 same time, there\u2019s \u200balso no question that it\u2019s a good \u2062thing the primary effectively ended this weekend, as \u2064opposed to an even more protracted war of\u2063 infighting among conservatives. Millions more dollars won\u2019t be wasted on pointless\u2064 attack \u200cads. Donald\u200d Trump will be the party\u2019s nominee, no matter how often Nikki\u200b Haley reminds us that she\u2019s\u2063 a woman and\u200c a \u201cperson of color\u201d who was bullied just for being brown on the mean \u200dstreets of Bamberg, South Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>This\u2063 thing is \u2062over \u2014 \u2063and that means that the Right can unite \u2063against its real enemies \u2014 powerful forces in society who hate\u200c this country, despise its people, and who seek to destroy our families\u2063 and corrupt our children.<\/p>\n<h3>The Left&#8217;s Crusade Against &#8220;Book Bans&#8221;<\/h3>\n<p>One of the clearest examples of this effort is \u200bthe sheer scale and dishonesty of the Left\u2019s fraudulent war against\u200b what they call \u201cbook bans.\u201d As City\u2064 Journal has noted, politicians at \u2062every level of government \u2014 from Governor Chris Sununu in New Hampshire \u200bto former representative Liz \u200bCheney in Wyoming \u2014 have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/article\/the-left-twists-the-meaning-of-book-ban\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">claimed<\/a> that schools are censoring classic reading\u200c materials,\u200d particularly in school libraries, at the behest of the Republican Party. Joe Biden has even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2023\/06\/08\/1180941627\/biden-pride-month-book-bans\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appointed<\/a> a \u201cbook ban coordinator\u201d to pursue civil rights cases against libraries that offend the LGBTQ cult with their censorship. Biden also\u2064 launched his re-election \u2064bid eight months ago with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ChjibtX0UzU\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">video<\/a> falsely implying that Florida had banned \u2062the book \u201cTo Kill a Mockingbird.\u201d That simply wasn\u2019t\u2062 true, as even the Associated Press\u200c later <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/fact-check-florida-schools-to-kill-a-mockingbird-201081596097\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">admitted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The truth is that this campaign against \u201cbook bans\u201d is nothing more than a crusade to put pornography in schools. \u200bThat\u2019s been clear for a \u200cwhile now. We\u2019ve all seen the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z146klZXeOw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">footage<\/a> of parents repeatedly getting thrown out of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/maryland-school-district-announces-policy-to-push-anti-racist-thinking-in-preschool-redefine-discrimination-and-racism\/\" title=\"Maryland School District Announces Policy to Push \u2018Anti-Racist Thinking\u2019 In Preschool, Redefine \u2018Discrimination\u2019 and \u2018Racism\u2019\">school board meetings<\/a>, just for reading\u2063 passages\u2062 from the pornographic books in their child\u2019s school libraries. There\u2019s \u2064dozens of\u200b those videos out there\u2064 at this point. This is about exposing children to smut. \u200dEveryone sees that.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/ep-1298-it-s-time-to-unite-against-the-real-enemy-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: The Matt Walsh Show<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>What\u2019s changed is that \u200dnow, with the election rapidly\u2062 approaching, the forces pushing this \u2063degeneracy\u200d are emboldened. They\u2019re dropping the pretense that they\u2019re worried about \u201cdiscrimination\u201d or \u201cteaching history\u201d or \u200dwhatever. They are at this point all \u200cbut coming right out and saying that \u2062they want\u200b to expose children to pornographic\u2063 materials. And they\u2019re doing it with\u200c the express support of the largest\u200b media conglomerates on the planet.<\/p>\n<p>If you doubt that, watch this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0GtGRPls40o\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">remarkable footage<\/a> from MSNBC the other day. This is from Joy Reid\u2019s show. It remains \u200bone of the great marvels of the \u200bworld that Joy Reid, despite being viscerally unpleasant to listen to or look at, and despite having nothing important to say, and\u2062 having never offered an even mildly interesting insight into any topic ever in her entire life, \u200cstill has a show \u2014 that, for yet another week, has not been canceled. But\u200b then again, this is \u2063MSNBC. They specialize in giving extraordinarily annoying and unappealing and stupid people TV shows. Al Sharpton still has a show on that network, after all, last I checked.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, back to Joy Reid. She was interviewing the co-founder of the group \u201cMoms for Liberty,\u201d a woman named Tiffany Justice. Before we\u200c get to the clip, here\u2019s the \u2063backstory: What\u2019s \u200dbothering MSNBC is that Moms for Liberty doesn\u2019t want a book called \u201cAll Boys \u2063Aren\u2019t Blue: A Memoir-Manifesto,\u201d written by LGBTQ activist George Johnson, to be available for children to check out from school libraries. This is a book that includes <a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/article\/the-left-twists-the-meaning-of-book-ban\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">descriptions<\/a> of anal rape and incest which are \u2063too graphic for me to share with you. This is the disadvantage we find ourselves in when it comes\u2064 to this issue. You really need \u200cto hear specifically what\u2019s in these books to fully appreciate just how\u2063 deranged these people are for wanting to put\u200c these books in schools.\u2063 But the material is\u2064 so\u200b objectionable and disgusting \u200dthat I simply will not share it. So you can go look it up for\u200c yourself and see. Suffice \u2064it to\u200b say that the\u2064 book contains very, very detailed accounts of rape, sodomy, and other things.<\/p>\n<p>There are\u2062 hundreds of \u200dthousands of books in circulation that do \u2064not have any \u2064of that\u2064 sort of content. There is no reason why this book, especially, of all books,\u2062 needs to be in a school library.<\/p>\n<p>This is a book that, according to local <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alreporter.com\/2024\/01\/08\/moms-for-liberty-sends-letter-to-lawmakers-urging-action-on-libraries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reports<\/a>, is available in\u200d the young adult nonfiction section\u2063 of two libraries in Huntsville, Alabama. These\u200b sections are for children between the ages of 12 and 18, which is roughly\u200b in line with \u200bthe publisher\u2019s age recommendation for this book. According to Moms for Liberty, there are records of a child as young as 9-years-old \u200bchecking out \u201cAll Boys Aren\u2019t \u2062Blue\u201d from the library.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s incredible \u200bis\u200b that, \u200cin this interview, Joy Reid \u200ddoesn\u2019t dispute\u2064 anything about the content of the book, or how obscene it is. She doesn\u2019t concede that maybe 9-year-old children shouldn\u2019t be reading this. Instead she goes out \u200bof her way to\u200b defend the book.<\/p>\n<p>Joy Reid begins by complaining that parents are going online and sharing passages from the book\u2063 that she says are somehow \u201ctaken out \u200dof context.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Then she\u200d makes a \u2064very familiar argument. \u200bWatch:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re not an expert, unlike whoever gave \u2064this pornographic book an award. Therefore, shut\u200d up; you don\u2019t get to have an opinion.\u201d That\u2019s what she\u2019s saying.<\/p>\n<p>You may have \u200bnoticed that \u2063it\u2019s become a\u200b common rhetorical tactic on the Left, whether\u2064 they\u2019re\u2062 talking about climate change or transgenderism or \u201cbook bans\u201d or pretty much anything. In the absence of any guiding moral\u200b principles, they\u2019re now fully reliant on the \u200bexpert class, to the point that they can\u2019t think for themselves \u2063anymore \u2014 and \u200dthey don\u2019t want you to think for yourself, either. We\u2019re at the point where they don\u2019t want you to object \u2062to pornography in the children\u2019s section without first getting an expert\u2019s approval. Just think about this for a moment. Joy Reid is claiming that you cannot object to children being exposed to books about anal rape\u200b unless you\u200c are an expert. Which raises the\u200b question: expert in what? What the hell kind of expert do you need to be to understand the simple common sense fact that 12-year-olds don\u2019t\u200b need to be reading graphic sexual content? How\u200c long until they tell you\u200c that you\u2019re\u2062 not allowed to object to full-on child pornography or\u2063 pedophilia unless you\u2019re an \u201cexpert\u201d? Based on \u2062their logic, at this rate, it \u2063probably won\u2019t be long. In fact, that\u2019s basically where we are, right now.<\/p>\n<p>Of\u200c course, in \u200cthat clip, Joy \u200dtakes this approach to a \u2063new level of absurdity, when\u2064 she\u2064 demands that Tiffany Justice name\u200c the author of the book \u2062\u201cAll Boys Aren\u2019t Blue.\u201d And I guess, because Justice couldn\u2019t provide the guy\u2019s full name quickly enough, we\u2019re supposed to conclude that she\u2019s not an \u201cexpert\u201d in the book. And therefore, she\u2019s excluded\u200b from having\u2064 any opinion on\u2062 the topic. Because, you know, you can\u2019t object to children being exposed to sexual \u200dcontent unless you can give\u2063 the full\u200c name of the person who created the sexual\u2064 content. Makes total sense, if you\u200b have brain damage.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of brain damage, what follows \u2063from Joy Reid next, as you probably could\u2019ve guessed, is the usual disingenuous \u201cparental rights\u201d\u200d argument.<\/p>\n<p>The\u200d idea is that parents \u200cshould be\u200b able to expose their children to whatever they want, and \u2063reasonable people shouldn\u2019t be allowed to step in and prevent that. Watch:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>So to recap, the conversation began with Joy suggesting that the \u201ccontext\u201d of the book makes it acceptable somehow. But she never explained what \u201ccontext\u201d would justify showing a child a graphic description of anal rape and incest. Now she \u2062circles back to \u200dher original point, in a roundabout way. She implies that some children \u200dcould benefit from reading this story because they\u2019d feel \u201cseen\u201d and represented \u200din the pages. And if parents want to encourage that, \u2063then we\u2019re supposed to go along with \u200cit.<\/p>\n<p>She\u200b actually says that.\u200c Again, just to be clear, this is not \u2062a book that encourages kids to take up sports, \u2063or solve\u2062 mysteries, or learn about space flight. \u200bThis book is exposing children as young as 9-years-old to graphic\u2064 scenes of anal \u200brape. According to the corporate press, children should read books like this and see themselves in them. As Tiffany Justice\u2064 pointed out, the implications of that are pretty\u2063 dark, to say the least. This gets to\u200d the heart of what this whole debate is about, which is the Left\u2019s attempt\u200b to legitimize deviant sexual contact with children. \u200dIt\u2019s not hard to conclude that the reason they want to show\u200d children these books \u2062about graphic underage sex is that they see no problem with children \u2064engaging in this kind of behavior.<\/p>\n<p>That could be why \u2014 throughout \u2064this whole interview \u2014 Joy\u2064 never once condemns the contents \u200cof this book. She doesn\u2019t say that some \u2062children probably shouldn\u2019t \u200bread it. Instead, she falls\u200d back on \u2064this idea that parental\u2064 rights are absolute, and we should never be able to dictate what other parents\u200b can \u2063and can\u2019t do.<\/p>\n<p>Notice the incoherence of this argument. First, Joy says \u2062that \u200cno one can have an opinion about this book unless they\u2019re\u2064 an expert, and they\u2019ve\u200c read it \u200ccover-to-cover and can name the author\u2019s full name and give his date of birth and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">social security number<\/a>. Then, a few minutes later,\u2062 Joy says that every parent should \u200dhave the right to show their kid this book, and their decision must be respected no\u200b matter what.<\/p>\n<p>This is what\u2019s called a contradiction, \u2063and people who understand basic principles of\u200c logic can \u200dspot it right away. But people like Joy, and the rest of the corporate press, are \u2062too \u200dconcerned with ideology to bother with principles. That\u2019s why, rather than present any kind of argument for\u2062 why children need to read about anal sex, Joy concludes the interview\u2063 by launching into bizarre personal attacks\u2062 on Moms for \u2063Liberty. Watch:<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>I have\u200d no idea if any of these allegations\u2064 are true. From what Tiffany \u2062Justice says, \u200dthey seem shaky, but honestly it doesn\u2019t matter. They\u2019re a painfully transparent attempt to distract from \u200dthe issue that this whole interview was about. Even if all of that is true \u2064\u2014 even \u200bif Moms for Liberty \u200dis full of the worst people on the planet \u2014 even if they\u2019re all\u2063 serial killers and Nazis \u2064and super villains \u2014 does that\u2063 suddenly make it appropriate to supply children with reading material about anal rape? \u2064It makes\u200d no sense. But this is all Joy Reid can do. She doesn\u2019t want to talk about the \u2062books,\u200d or why she wants children to read them. Instead, she just wants to attack the people\u200c who are pointing out what\u2019s in these books.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/onelink.to\/dwapp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLICK HERE TO GET THE DAILY WIRE APP<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>It\u2019s hard to put into words the depth of evil that\u2019s on display here. This\u200b isn\u2019t just one race\u200c hustler on MSNBC talking like this. It\u2019s pretty much all of the corporate\u2064 press, \u2062along with the Biden administration, who are committed to pushing this smut in schools. It\u2019s going to take an equally forceful, concerted effort to stop them \u200bfrom succeeding.<\/p>\n<p>In\u200d fact, this month lawmakers in Florida <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/nbc-out\/out-politics-and-policy\/florida-gop-lawmakers-seek-ban-rainbow-flags-schools-saying-re-bad-stu-rcna134475\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">introduced<\/a> a bill that represents a very good start. The legislation would ban teachers and government employees from\u2064 displaying\u2063 the so-called \u201cpride\u201d rainbow flag, or associated lapel pins, in public \u2063buildings and schools, for\u2064 obvious reasons: the flag\u200c is a symbol \u200dof a radical religious \u200dcult that\u2019s \u200cspecifically used to target children \u2062and indoctrinate them into an \u2062ideology that seeks, at every\u2062 turn, \u200bto sexualize and corrupt them.\u200d Soon, \u2063if the bill passes, the symbol \u2014 which\u2064 became omnipresent sometime in the past\u200c decade \u2014 will\u2063 be gone.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s simple and effective proposals like this that have made Florida under \u200dRon DeSantis an attractive state for conservative families to live in. He\u2019s not campaigning for president anymore, but \u2063he\u2019s still going to be a leader in this fight, which could not \u2064be more urgent at this point.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s needed now \u2014 especially as the primary effectively comes to a close \u2063\u2014\u200c is\u2063 for \u2062every conservative to unite and join in.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> How does the\u2062 debate over \u2062&#8221;book bans&#8221; reflect larger concerns\u200c about pornography in schools?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Children with \u200cbooks that contain explicit \u2064sexual content? Does it suddenly make it okay \u200cto expose children to graphic scenes of anal rape and incest? \u2062I think not.<\/p>\n<p>The fact remains\u2063 that the Left&#8217;s fight against so-called &#8220;book \u200bbans&#8221; \u2062is nothing more\u2063 than a push\u200b to put pornography in schools. They deny it, of course, but the\u200b evidence is clear. Just look at \u200bthe footage of parents being thrown out of school board meetings for reading passages from explicit books in their child&#8217;s school library. This is not about censorship \u2064or\u2062 discrimination;\u200c it&#8217;s about exposing children to inappropriate and \u200bharmful materials.<\/p>\n<p>And now, with \u2063the election looming, the forces\u200c behind this agenda \u2064are becoming bolder. They no longer hide behind claims of education or diversity; they openly state their desire\u200d to expose children to pornographic\u200d materials. And they do so with the support of major media conglomerates.<\/p>\n<p>An interview \u2063on MSNBC&#8217;s Joy Reid&#8217;s show highlights this disturbing\u200d trend. She interviews Tiffany Justice, the co-founder \u200bof &#8220;Moms for Liberty,&#8221; a group that\u2064 opposes the inclusion of explicit\u200d books in\u2063 school libraries.
