Trump rolled over for health bureaucrats \u2063and the \u201cSwamp\u201d he railed against in speeches,\u200c lost to \u200cPresident Joe Biden, presided over\u2063 the \u2064GOP losing control of both houses of \u200cCongress (which he\u200b directly contributed to),\u200d and is electorally\u200c toxic now \u2014 even before he likely ends up convicted \u2064of any\u200d of the alleged crimes\u200b for which he has been indicted.<\/p>\n<p>Despite all of this, GOP voters in Iowa\u2062 went against popular \u2062community leaders and their popular GOP governor to give the 77-year-old ex-president a resounding victory, setting\u2064 the\u2064 stage for him to sweep the nomination once again despite being \u200bthe weakest\u200c nominee Republicans could put up.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote>\n<h3>The Democratic Masochism<\/h3>\n<p>It isn\u2019t just GOP voters who want to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/tulsi-gabbard-hammers-bidens-massive-build-back-better-bill-its-going-to-make-inflation-worse\/\" title=\"Tulsi Gabbard Hammers Biden\u2019s Massive Build Back Better Bill: It\u2019s Going To \u2018Make Inflation Worse\u2019\">make things hard<\/a> on \u200cthemselves. Biden is 81 and wildly \u200cunpopular, and yet Democrats have no\u200b interest in nominating a younger candidate who can complete\u200c coherent sentences without a teleprompter. The Democratic masochism is on \u2064full display in New Hampshire, where voters are poised to hand Biden a primary victory on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>This \u2064is \u2062notable because Biden does not recognize\u200d the New Hampshire\u2063 primary as legitimate at all. The Democratic National Committee is not \u200dsanctioning\u2062 New Hampshire\u2019s primary \u200bbecause the state \u2064refused to move back in the\u200b primary order. The DNC \u200cthinks New Hampshire voters are too white to matter, \u200dand Biden agrees, refusing to \u2063participate \u2062in the primary. And yet New Hampshire \u2062Democrats are orchestrating \u200da write-in campaign to give Biden a symbolic victory (with no delegates included) \u2064because that is just\u200d how committed they are to the unpopular 81-year-old party leader.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For all the\u2064 talk that \u200cmost people do not \u200bwant a 2020 rematch, the\u2064 most dedicated and motivated voters in both parties do. They are\u200c both all-in on their\u200d old, unpopular candidates, both of whom \u2063are\u2063 littered with red flags that\u200b show \u200cjust how much the swing voters\u2063 who decide elections \u200dhate them. \u2063Whichever party loses in\u2064 2024\u2062 will have brought that loss on themselves because voters in both parties decided they wanted to make \u2063this election \u2062more difficult for themselves than it ever had to\u2063 be.<\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> \u200d What are some possible reasons for \u2064voters\u200c in Iowa and New \u200bHampshire choosing to support\u2063 candidates with \u2063a history of controversy and setbacks?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Onths after the\u2063 storming of the \u200bCapitol by his \u200dsupporters. Despite all of \u2063this, Trump \u200cremains a dominant force within the Republican\u2064 Party, with \u2064his base of \u200csupporters continuing to stand by\u2064 him. This masochistic motivation can be\u2062 seen as an attempt\u200c to cling to the ideals and promises that\u200c Trump represented, even \u2064in the face of failure\u2062 and controversy.<\/p>\n<p>On\u2062 the other\u200d side \u2063of the aisle, \u2064the Democratic Party is not exempt from\u2062 this masochistic motivation either. Despite Biden&#8217;s history of\u2063 gaffes, allegations of inappropriate\u200c behavior, and his middling performance in the Democratic\u200c primaries,\u2064 voters in Iowa and New Hampshire have\u2063 chosen to support him.
