However, \u200dthe Ryan Center offers abortions up to 23 weeks and 6 days old, well \u200bbeyond the point of viability, without considering any \u200bthreat to\u2063 the mother&#8217;s well-being.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, the Family Planning Associates (FPA) \u2063Chicago clinic offers abortions up to\u200b 23.5 weeks, a stage at which premature babies often survive \u200cwith standard medical care.<\/p>\n<p>According to Thinker reporter Ben Ogilvie, babies delivered at 22 weeks survive\u200c approximately 28%\u2064 of the time, while babies delivered at 23 weeks survive approximately 55%\u2064 of the time. \u200bThese survival rates are even higher at\u2062 a state-of-the-art health \u2063center like UChicago Medicine.<\/p>\n<p>It is concerning that the\u2063 Ryan Center and FPA clinic are advertising <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/white-house-releases-list-of-president-trumps-accomplishments-and-it-is-historic\/\" title=\"White House Releases List of President Trump\u2019s Accomplishments \u2013  And It Is Historic!\">late-term abortions<\/a> of viable babies, which is only allowed in \u200bextreme situations threatening the life \u200dof the mother in Illinois.<\/p>\n<p>The RHA&#8217;s definition of viability\u200b is subjective and \u200ballows abortionists to \u2062interpret it in their favor. The term &#8220;extraordinary&#8221; is used to determine whether a fetus can sustain survival outside the uterus without the application of expensive or painful medical measures.<\/p>\n<p>However, the care provided to \u2062babies in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/hundreds-of-patients-evacuated-after-la-hospital-loses-power-in-storms-wake\/\" title=\"LA hospital loses power after storm, hundreds evacuated.\">neonatal intensive care\u2063 units<\/a> (NICU) contradicts\u200b the \u2063notion of &#8220;extraordinary&#8221; measures.\u2062 The Ryan\u200b Center and FPA clinic fail to provide any cautions about this aspect of the law on their websites.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, RHA does not explicitly penalize illegal late-term abortions, \u200cand the law states that a fetus does not have\u200b independent rights.
