I am sure\u200d there has been some mistake,\u201d I \u200cdeclared with the absolute assurance of a man who knows he isn\u2019t on the list but who is nonetheless certain he will get in anyway.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Behind me in a\u200c rapidly forming queue stood actual members of the World Economic Forum, known affectionately to insiders \u200bby \u200bthe diminutive \u201c<em>Wef<\/em>,\u201d waiting for her to check their names against the\u200c same list before granting them entry.<\/p>\n<p>Honestly, for a group that, apart from global tyranny, gets excited about nothing so much as mass surveillance \u2062and brain chips, I found myself continually amazed that they used\u2062 a process so antiquated that every teacher from Aristotle to Ben Stein has used it for roll call: <em>\u201c<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/f4zyjLyBp64?feature=shared\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Bueller? Bueller<\/em><\/a><em>?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>But it was much\u2064 to my advantage.<\/p>\n<h2>Spying on the Crackpots Running WEF<\/h2>\n<p>You see, \u2062WEF attendance \u2062is expensive. While the exact \u2062cost is murky, WEF \u2063membership, which can run into tens of thousands of dollars, is required before one can \u2063buy a pass for their annual meeting at Davos, which is tens of thousands of dollars \u200dmore.<\/p>\n<p>Not a chance I was\u2062 paying those fees. \u200dFor the second year in a row, I adopted a much less expensive \u2064approach: \u200cI just walked \u2062into every \u2064building like I owned\u200b the place. And, with so many billionaires walking into buildings just like this one all over Davos, who \u2064was to \u200bsay I didn\u2019t own \u200cthe place? (Life hack: \u2063Act like you belong wherever you are going, and people will treat you like you do belong.)<\/p>\n<p>But why was I, a Christian, \u200bconservative, and fierce anti-globalist,\u200c spying at Davos\u2064 anyway? I fit in here about as much as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/conservatives-blast-marthas-vineyard-leftist-hypocrisy-deporting-illegal-immigrants-island\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">brown-skinned migrant at Martha\u2019s Vineyard.<\/a> \u200c And with 70 percent \u2062of WEF presentations online, why make the arduous journey to this pretentious gathering of more than 60 heads of\u2062 state, 100+ billionaires, 600+ CEOs of major corporations, and 2,800 others?<\/p>\n<p>Throughout my career, I have made\u200b it a point to understand the opposition. When\u200b I started taking on atheists, I didn\u2019t just read books about them. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/hfU7En3LydQ?feature=shared\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I got to\u2063 know them<\/a>. More than that, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Faith-Christopher-Hitchens-Restless-Notorious\/dp\/B01D96CZPO\/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1E5056F0OWMUG&#038;keywords=the+faith+of+christopher+hitchens&#038;qid=1705683746&#038;sprefix=the+faith+of+c%2Caps%2C356&#038;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I got to know their best representatives<\/a>. I wanted to understand their thinking so \u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Faith-Christopher-Hitchens-Restless-Notorious\/dp\/B01D96CZPO\/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1E5056F0OWMUG&#038;keywords=the+faith+of+christopher+hitchens&#038;qid=1705747347&#038;sprefix=the+faith+of+c%2Caps%2C356&#038;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">that\u200c I might better \u200bcombat it<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>And, my,\u2062 what \u2064preparation for the WEF that turned out to be. Where <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/mrOXeXgbMhE?feature=shared\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Christopher Hitchens\u200c and I debated the existence of God<\/a>, \u200dWEFers, at least the ones\u200c at the top of their very feudal pyramid, \u2064just assume He doesn\u2019t exist and they act\u2064 accordingly. The upshot of that is a fundamentally \u200danti-human agenda. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/ojK05pVOlhs?feature=shared\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Listen to WEFer Dennis Meadows<\/a> as he\u200b explains why we need to reduce the global population by six to seven billion people. \u201cBut,\u201d he says without a hint of irony, \u201cI hope we can do it peacefully.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>My Chat with Theresa May<\/h2>\n<p>Minutes after \u200cmy encounter with the Clipboard Lady, I was chatting with former Prime Minister of Portugal Jos\u00e9 \u200dManuel Barroso and former U.K. Prime \u200bMinister Theresa May about the WEF\u2019s posture toward the war in Ukraine, \u2063which might be briefly summarized as highly enthusiastic.<\/p>\n<p>What\u200b happened next serves as a subtle illustration of how the WEF, like\u200d all governments, disguises its actual objectives with a veneer of \u200dhumanitarian respectability.<\/p>\n<p>May, who \u2064is now chair of the Global Commission for Modern Slavery and Human \u2063Trafficking, was speaking about\u200b their efforts to assist Ukrainian war\u200b refugees who were being trafficked once \u2064they crossed the Polish\u2063 border. This didn\u2019t sit well with me. It just so happens that I was\u2063 in Poland last year to interview those same refugees, and each of them made a point of saying they were receiving\u200b no assistance except that given to them by Christian organizations based in the United States. So, was\u2063 May that mendacious or was she simply a figurehead who really didn\u2019t know what was going on\u200d at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bombshell-ufo-report-u-s-military-encounters-ufos-every-day-that-far-exceed-its-tech-capabilities\/\" title=\"Bombshell UFO Report: U.S. Military Encounters UFOs \u2018Every Day\u2019 That Far Exceed Its Tech, Capabilities\">ground level<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p>Hard to say. But I decided to ignore that and press her on Ukraine itself, a topic near and\u200c dear to WEFer hearts. (As we talked,\u2062 a man\u200c stood nearby with a \u201cSave Ukraine\u201d t-shirt. This was life imitating \u2063parody.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s \u2064being done,\u201d I asked the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/uk-govt-lockdown-to-last-12-months-expect-repeated-vaccinations\/\" title=\"UK Govt: Lockdown to Last 12+ Months, Expect Repeated Vaccinations\">prime minister<\/a> privately, \u201cto assist Ukrainians being trafficked\u200d <em>within<\/em> Ukraine? Ukrainians don\u2019t have to leave their own \u2062country to get trafficked. It\u2019s happening\u200d with the full knowledge of a \u2062corrupt and complicit government.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The cheeriness with which\u2064 Prime Minister May had greeted me just moments before evaporated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing\u2062 that I am aware of. I\u2019ll have to make inquiries.\u201d This was the classic Parliamentary Q &#038; A parry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut you\u2019re aware the government is corrupt?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Her response was\u2063 something of a shrug of the shoulders: \u201cThat\u2019s Ukraine, isn\u2019t it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, it is. It\u2019s also the WEF.<\/p>\n<p>Her cynically dismissive response confirmed what I have long suspected about Western leaders and \u2062the WEF, which are essentially the same\u200d thing, and that is this: Lofty rhetoric notwithstanding,\u2063 they are no more \u2063troubled by Putin\u2019s corruption and tyranny than they are by Zelensky\u2019s or, for that matter, their own. No, they are willing to fight Putin \u2062to the last Ukrainian for one reason and one reason only: <em>he isn\u2019t \u2063on board\u2064 with the globalist agenda<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re\u2063 looking\u200c for an explanation for\u2062 the Biden administration\u2019s utter devotion to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/biden-reduces-support-for-s-arabia-in-another-boon-to-iran\/\" title=\"Biden reduces support for S. Arabia in another boon to Iran\">proxy war<\/a> with\u200b Russia, look no further than this. They see Ukraine as the first of \u200btwin pillars supporting the globalist agenda.<\/p>\n<p>The second is the United States. And that\u200c is what has them uneasy about the possibility of a second Trump Presidency \u2014 and uneasy they are. Farmer uprisings? Trucker convoys? Vaccine protests? WEFers are indifferent. They know those people don\u2019t have real power. Not even Argentina\u2019s new President Javi\u00e9r Milei is a source\u200c of \u2062anxiety for them. But Trump, who didn\u2019t even attend\u2063 this year\u2019s Davos meeting, nonetheless cast a \u200clong shadow over the whole week.<\/p>\n<p>The prime minister moved off. Ukrainian corruption wasn\u2019t a topic she wanted \u200dto pursue further. And it was time that I moved\u200c off, too. While\u2064 the good people at Rebel News try to make their presence felt as much as possible at the WEF \u2014\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/0UyURovQgLY?feature=shared\">their harassment of John Kerry was simply awesome<\/a> \u2014 my strategy is exactly the opposite: I want to go unnoticed.<\/p>\n<h2>Saving the Faceless Masses<\/h2>\n<p>It was, I thought,\u2064 unintentionally ironic that former Prime Minister Barroso, who\u200d is also the former\u2062 president of the European Commission, quoted Dostoevsky:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe more I love humanity in general, the less I love man \u2064in particular.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The jet-setting \u2062sophisticates, gratified by a high literary \u200dreference worthy of their erudition, received this line with \u2064the polite chuckles of those who \u200bare sure they understand \u2062it. I think they did not. The quotation comes from <em>The \u200bBrothers Karamazov<\/em>. Superficially, the novel is a murder mystery. But at a much deeper level Dostoevsky, who was\u2063 an atheist and socialist\u200b revolutionary before his arrest, imprisonment, and conversion to Christianity, is exploring the \u2062inevitable and inhumane\u2063 schemes \u200cof men\u200d once they drive God from society.<\/p>\n<p>The line is spoken by a man who is a hypocrite, and loves the idea of saving the faceless masses but cares nothing whatsoever for his neighbor. In delivering it,\u200c Barroso, whether he \u2064knew it or not, was not only neatly summarizing the WEF mentality, but was speaking a kind of curse on\u2064 the assembled.<\/p>\n<p>For his own part, Dostoevsky saw exactly what is at the heart of all\u200c WEF-like\u2062 endeavors:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor socialism is \u2064not merely the labor question, it is before all things the \u2063atheistic question, the question of the form taken by atheism today, the question\u200d of the tower of Babel built without\u2063 God, not to mount\u2063 to heaven from earth but to set up heaven on earth.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I think he was onto something.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"> <\/p>\n<h2> According to \u2064the \u200bauthor, \u2062what needs to \u2064change in \u200corder to create a better future for all and overcome the challenges\u200b of our time<\/h2>\n<p><span>  \u200dRaine and its corrupt government were not\u200d her concern. The agenda\u2064 of\u2062 the WEF\u200d and its globalist supporters was what \u2062mattered.\u2063 And it \u200cbecame clear to \u200cme that their agenda was not aligned with the interests of the people \u2064they claimed to represent.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the week at Davos, I had many\u2062 more encounters \u2062and conversations that further solidified my\u200c understanding of\u2062 the WEF and \u2062its\u200c members. I spoke with CEOs who were more interested in profit margins than\u200b the well-being of their\u200d employees. I listened \u200cto panel discussions where experts touted the benefits of automation and artificial intelligence,\u200c without considering the impact on jobs and\u200b livelihoods. I witnessed \u2062the contempt with which these elites regarded the concerns and aspirations of ordinary people.<\/p>\n<p>But amidst all the disillusionment and frustration, there\u2064 were\u2064 also moments that\u200d gave me hope. \u200dI met activists fighting for freedom and\u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/trudeau-criticized-for-chiding-muslims-over-lgbt-content-in-schools\/\" title=\"Trudeau under fire for reprimanding Muslims on LGBT education.\">human\u2062 rights<\/a> in countries ruled by oppressive \u200dregimes. I had \u200bconversations \u200bwith\u200c entrepreneurs who were using technology to empower communities and create\u2062 positive change. And\u200b I found \u2062solace in the fact that I \u2062was not alone in\u2063 questioning the motives and\u200d actions of the WEF.<\/p>\n<p>As I \u2064left Davos, I couldn\u2019t\u200b help but reflect on \u200bwhat\u2062 I had witnessed. The WEF may claim\u200c to be a platform for \u200bglobal cooperation \u2064and progress, but in\u200c reality, it is an exclusive club \u200bfor\u2064 the\u200c wealthy and powerful. It is a\u2064 gathering of individuals \u2064who\u200b are\u200b more interested in\u2063 maintaining their privileges and advancing their own agendas than in addressing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/5-things-gun-owners-need-to-know-about-bidens-new-gun-control-czar\/\" title=\"5 Things Gun Owners Need To Know About Biden\u2019s New Gun Control Czar\">pressing issues facing<\/a> our world.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2064 is clear to me now that the WEF \u2062is not the solution to the problems we face. It is part of the problem itself. If we truly\u2063 want to create a better future for all,\u2064 we must reject the self-serving\u200b elitism of the WEF and instead work towards a more inclusive and equitable society. Only then can we \u2062hope \u2064to overcome\u200b the challenges of our time\u2062 and truly make a \u2062difference.<\/p>\n<p>So, the next time the WEF holds its annual meeting in Davos, I won\u2019t be there. I won\u2019t waste my time \u2062and energy on an event \u2064that only serves \u200bto perpetuate \u200dthe status quo. \u2063Instead,\u2062 I \u2064will continue to\u200b fight\u200b for a world \u2063where power is decentralized, where individuals are empowered\u200c to shape\u2063 their \u2062own destinies, and \u200cwhere the voices\u2062 of \u2063the \u200bmarginalized are heard.<\/p>\n<p>And perhaps, one day,\u200c we will \u2062create a \u200bworld where the \u2063WEF and its elitist gatherings are nothing \u200bmore than a relic of the\u2063 past.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry, but you&#8217;re not on my list,&#8221; the young woman said, blocking my entrance to a captivating lecture at the World Economic Forum.
