The statements \u200cshowed that Wade had purchased plane tickets for himself and Willis to travel to San Francisco and Miami over the \u2064past year and a\u200c half,\u2063 according to the filing, \u2062 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/donald-trump\/credit-card-statements-show-trump-special-prosecutor-appointed-georgia-rcna134791\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NBC\u200c News reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The court filing comes after Michael Roman, a co-defendant in the Trump case, alleged that Willis and Wade \u201cengaged in\u200b an improper, clandestine personal relationship during the pendency of this case, which has resulted \u2064in the special prosecutor, and, in turn, the \u2064district attorney, profiting significantly from this prosecution at the expense of the taxpayers.\u201d\u200b <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Willis was subpoenaed last week in the Wades\u2019 divorce case,\u2064 requesting\u200c her to testify. In a court filing on Thursday, the\u200d district \u2062attorney accused Joycelyn Wade of trying to \u201charass\u201d her and \u201cdamage \u200cher professional reputation,\u201d alleging that Joycelyn Wade is \u201cobstructing and interfering with\u200b an ongoing \u200dcriminal prosecution.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Joycelyn Wade\u2019s attorneys <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msn.com\/en-us\/news\/politics\/georgia-prosecutor-on-trump-case-paid-for-trips-with-district-attorney-willis-on-his-credit-card-court-filing-shows\/ar-BB1gXGxb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">responded<\/a> to Willis\u2019 filing on Friday, writing, \u201cContrary to Ms. Willis\u2019s belief, the Defendant is not utilizing the deposition to harass \u2062her but rather to seek pertinent information \u200dfrom her husband\u2019s paramour regarding her relationship with Plaintiff and the extent of the Plaintiff\u2019s financial involvement in the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Trump <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/truthsocial.com\/@realDonaldTrump\/posts\/111784572351600268\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">responded<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  \u200cto news of the court filings, saying Willis and\u200d Wade \u2062\u201chave been exposed.\u201d \u200c <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe Hoax has to be Totally and Completely DISMISSED,\u201d Trump posted to Truth Social\u2063 on Friday, referring to the Georgia RICO case against him. \u201cAnd the Lovebirds should face appropriate \u2062consequences.
