While speaking at a briefing Thursday, press secretary Jen Psaki outlined the payment schedule for the disbursement of the $1,400 checks that were approved in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/117th-congress\/house-bill\/1319\/text\">American Rescue Plan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>At least one million Americans should receive funds by March 17. Meanwhile, paper checks and prepaid visa debit cards will be sent through April.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is, of course, just the first wave, but people will start, some people in the country will start seeing those in direct deposits in their bank accounts this weekend,\u201d Psaki stated. \u201cAnd payments to eligible Americans will continue throughout the course of the next several weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">US Family of 6 w\/ Income of $150k\u2026<\/p>\n<p>1st Stimulus Check: $4,400<br \/>2nd Stimulus Check: $3,600<br \/>3rd Stimulus Check: $8,400<\/p>\n<p>Total: $16,400<\/p>\n<p>What if they didn&#8217;t lose their job\/income during pandemic?
