Mike Johnson, would \u200bbe a strong leader. With his self-professed biblical worldview and somewhat conservative voting \u200brecord,\u2064 many \u200bbelieved he would fight against Democrats\u2019 extremism. <\/p>\n

However, Johnson has proven them wrong.<\/p>\n

Despite Democrats controlling the \u200cWhite House and \u2063Senate, Republicans in the House have the power to stop President Biden\u2019s destructive\u200c policies. However, Johnson has repeatedly \u2062surrendered to Democrat demands and put\u2063 conservative priorities on the\u200c back burner.<\/p>\n

His latest act of betrayal\u2064 came \u2062when he passed a continuing resolution to fund the government \u200bwithout addressing the open border issue.\u200b More Democrats\u2064 voted\u200d in favor of the measure than Republicans, showing Johnson’s lack of leadership.<\/p>\n

Prior to \u200bthat, Johnson supported a\u200d spending package that\u200d increased federal spending<\/a> \u200band failed to address important Republican concerns. He also declined \u200dto fight \u2064for\u2063 conservative priorities in the National Defense Authorization Act.<\/p>\n

It is clear that Johnson is not the strong conservative leader that conservatives were hoping for. His\u200c actions, or lack thereof, have shown \u200cthat he is more interested in maintaining the status quo and appeasing the left than in fighting for \u2062conservative principles and \u2062values. This is a disservice to the American people and to the\u2064 Republican Party.<\/p>\n
It is time for conservatives to demand better from their leaders. \u200bWe need strong, principled conservatives who will stand up for our values and fight for limited government, fiscal responsibility, and the rights of \u2062the American people. Johnson has proven that he is \u2063not the\u200b leader \u200bwe need. It is time for him \u2063to step aside\u200c and \u2063make room for someone who will\u200b truly represent the conservative movement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
