You bring in the third world, and you become the third world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/inside-colony-ridge-the-fastest-growing-development-in-the-u-s-is-a-magnet-for-illegal-immigrants\">visited<\/a> Colony Ridge last year and <a href=\"https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2023\/09\/Colony-Ridge-%E2%80%94-Stray-Dogs.mp4\">documented stray dogs<\/a> roaming the underdeveloped streets.<\/p>\n<p>Residents in the area surrounding Colony Ridge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/its-an-sos-texas-community-reels-as-colony-ridge-expands-says-development-has-devastated-our-way-of-life\">told<\/a> The Daily Wire that the development is home to third-world conditions, explaining that it is not uncommon to hear gunshots ringing out at night or to see trash piling up in the ditches.<\/p>\n<p>The development has since come under heavy scrutiny, now facing an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/environmental-protection-agency-confirms-active-investigation-into-colony-ridge\">investigation<\/a> from the Environmental Protection Agency and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-doj-sues-colony-ridge-for-bait-and-switch-sales-predatory-financing\">ongoing lawsuit<\/a> from the Department of Justice (DOJ) over predatory financing and bait-and-switch tactics.
