Due to reaching maximum\u200b capacity, cities like Chicago have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/republican-debate-debate-pulls-higher-ratings-for-fox-news\/\" title=\"Republican debate boosts Fox News ratings.\">imposed strict restrictions<\/a> on homeless\u2063 immigrant\u2064 drop-offs. \u2064As a result, bus travel companies from Texas have been\u200d finding ways\u200d to\u200c bypass the rules\u2064 and drop immigrants off in suburbs\u2062 such as Naperville, Illinois, and \u200dOak\u2063 Park, Illinois, \u200bso they can access transit \u2063systems into\u200d the city.<\/p>\n<p>Several villages, including Schaumburg, Illinois, and\u200d Elk Grove, Illinois, have enacted ordinances to prevent immigrants from being housed in hotels. Oak Park began evicting 150 immigrants from a\u200d town hotel and the YMCA \u200blast year, \u200dwith the process set to be completed \u200bby the end of this month.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It shouldn&#8217;t be all\u2062 these\u200b mayors fixing the problem,&#8221; expressed Elk Grove Village Mayor Craig Johnson in December 2023. &#8220;It&#8217;s\u200c not our job. We&#8217;re not built to handle this.
