Late last year, for example, the group&#8217;s members <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/Pal_ActionUS\/status\/1719022777213268265?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">clashed with police<\/a> outside the company&#8217;s Boston office in a demonstration that the group said &#8220;completely halted&#8221; Elbit&#8217;s business. The\u200b radical group also defaced\u2064 Elbit&#8217;s Washington, D.C.-area office with graffiti \u200creading &#8220;Free Palestine&#8221; and &#8220;War Criminals Work Here,&#8221; the <em>Washington \u2062Free Beacon<\/em> reported in November.<\/p>\n<p>While those demonstrations have led to the arrests of Palestine Action members, the \u2064group&#8217;s\u2064 London Stock\u2064 Exchange plot seems\u200d to mark an escalation in the group&#8217;s \u2063tactics. \u2064That escalation could spell trouble for James &#8220;Fergie&#8221; Chambers, an avowed communist whose family controls\u200c the Cox Enterprises empire. Chambers \u2062cut ties with his family last year and \u200c <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2023\/07\/06\/cox-media-heir-slams-capitalism-after-securing-millions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">secured<\/a> &#8220;multiple\u2064 hundreds of\u200c millions of dollars&#8221; in the process\u2014money that he has used to fund Palestine Action U.S.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unclear if Chambers, who did not return a request for \u200bcomment, \u2063contributed to the\u2063 group&#8217;s London Stock Exchange plot.\u2064 Chambers did, however, promote the \u2062plot\u2063 on social media and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/jccfergie\/status\/1746792011041046875?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">call\u2063 to &#8220;doxx&#8221;<\/a> \u200bthe <em>Daily \u2063Express<\/em> journalist who\u200b informed U.K. police of Palestine Action&#8217;s plans.
