Although the \u2062Legislature has made\u2063 some changes \u200dto state law, supporters of the initiative want to revert to the pre-2021 regulations, allowing officers to pursue suspects if there is\u2064 reasonable suspicion\u2064 of\u200b a law \u2063violation and a threat to public safety.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200bcertification process involved a random \u2063sampling of 13,038 signatures, with 10,579 deemed valid and 2,447 invalid.
