The Biden Administration \u200dhas politicized infrastructure\u2064 investments, focusing \u2062on social and \u200denvironmental justice instead of addressing congestion and improving transportation efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Florida&#8217;s Stand Against Overreach<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fortunately, Florida \u2062has the means to fight back against this overreach. With only 25 percent of transportation funds coming from\u200b the federal \u200cgovernment, Florida has committed over $64 billion \u200bto infrastructure improvements over the next 5 years. Governor \u200cDeSantis and the\u200b Florida Legislature recognize the \u2062importance of transportation infrastructure and its positive impact on the state&#8217;s residents and businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Recently, climate activists have criticized \u200bFlorida&#8217;s decision to not participate in the \u200b&#8221;Carbon Reduction&#8221; program of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
