I \u2063absolutely missed\u2062 being here, and I am excited \u200cto catch up.\u200d And while it\u2019s the New Year, I am the exact same Candace.\u2063 Regardless of the year or where we are in it, I am going\u200c to stand by \u2063my\u2064 values \u200dand instill them in my own household. I will never turn my \u200dback on saying what I\u2064 believe to be true in my heart.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">As we enter 2024, \u200cI am doing just that by setting some resolutions for women on the internet. Is it more of the \u201cbe brave\u201d or \u201cbe stunning\u201d lingo? Actually, no. It\u2019s less of that. Less of all that. I absolutely think we should all set New Year\u2019s resolutions, and since I have a platform\u200c and many\u2062 women follow me (some who\u2063 like me, scores who don\u2019t), I\u200d thought I should outline the top three New Year\u2019s resolutions \u200dthat women on the internet should adopt \u2063for \u200b2024. These are\u200b three simple goals for internet behavior.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>1. Stop Posting\u2063 Near-Naked Pictures On The Internet<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I discussed this on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/show\/candace\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">my show<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  the first week I was back. I think <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">everyone <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">can do this. I believe it in my heart of \u200bhearts. \u2063For those who are deep into the addiction of putting the parts of your body Eve sewed fig leaves for all\u200c over everyone\u2019s screens for likes and attention, take a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/investors-bought-bonds-stocks-and-inflation-hedges-in-busy-cenbank-week-bofa\/\" title=\"Investors purchased bonds, stocks, and inflation hedges during a hectic central bank week, according to BofA.\">small\u200b step<\/a>. Try doing dry\u2064 January. For the whole month of January, give it a go by not putting any of those\u2064 pictures on the internet.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/episode\/women-please-stop-doing-this-in-2024-member-exclusive\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WATCH: Candace Owens<\/a><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">One day, I am going to put together a rehabilitation center for these women. I really do believe this is becoming \u200da mental disorder. I am <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">exhausted<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  opening my Instagram and seeing more of some\u200d women than I ever want to see.\u200d So if you \u2064could do us all a \u200dfavor and put some clothes \u200don this\u200c year, I think that \u2063would make a great first goal. In all honesty,\u200b I don\u2019t\u2064 think we\u2019re going to be able to accomplish\u200b it, but I want to challenge everyone with \u200cthe opportunity.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>2. Stop Trauma \u2064Dumping<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This \u200ctrend has taken TikTok\u200c by storm.\u200d Some TikTokers are encouraging their followers to \u201ctrauma dump\u201d which, according to them, involves skipping boring and uninteresting small talk \u2064to share dark, vulnerable stories instead. Others are crying in their posts with a tell-all, essentially living out private parts of their\u2062 life very publicly. One TikToker in particular \u2064supports normalizing crying in your car when you think\u2062 of \u2063books that make you feel sad.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Though \u2063they want to \u201cnormalize trauma dumping,\u201d I would \u2062like to do the \u200dopposite. I would actually \u2064like to ab-normalize trauma dumping. Crying in \u2063your car \u2064because you think of \u2062a book? Is that really something we need to\u200d normalize? I think not. Let\u2019s not \u2062do that.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Another TikToker is \u201cliving her trauma out \u2064loud\u201d by \u200dposting what\u2063 she calls a \u2063\u201cvery vulnerable video\u201d in which she decries that \u200cher husband is getting more love from their child than she is. He comes in \u2062and\u200d comforts her \u2064while she cries and folds laundry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What strikes\u200b me as most bothersome with this trauma dumping initiative \u200bis\u2064 the camera set up. Before crying and folding laundry,\u200b the camera was set up \u200din a perfect position to capture all this. It got her, her husband, and their child all in this moment. It\u2019s as though they start to feel sad and think, let me\u200c set this\u200d camera up first. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We\u2019ve got to stop doing this. I want women to button it up this \u2064year. I want\u2064 women to be more emotionally stable on\u2064 the internet. Plus, \u2063I \u200djust don\u2019t think it\u2019s healthy to grab your phone, set it up, and cry in front of a bunch of strangers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>3.\u2063 Stop\u200c Lying\u200c To Each \u2062Other<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Lena Dunham comes to mind with this resolution.\u2064 She is one of the great arbiters of modern feminism \u2014 the \u200bfeminism that tells women they should be naked \u2062all the time and overshare to any and everyone. Here\u2019s an \u2062example:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dunham \u200dis in a string bikini (how she often appears in posts), and she shows more of her body\u2062 than any of\u2063 us want \u200bto see. But what is more\u200d disturbing than the photo of Dunham in a \u200cstring bikini are the comments people leave: fire \u200bemojis, heart eyes,\u200d and compliments\u200b telling her she\u2019s \u201cstunning\u201d and \u201cthe hottest.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">I don\u2019t know why women keep doing this. I\u2019m not sure if they\u2019re lying because it \u2062makes <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">them<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  feel good \u2014 or because they feel bad for <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">her<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. But I suggest doing some\u2064 soul searching to figure it out because \u2062it\u2019s just not true. It\u2019s a lie \u2014 and we should stop lying. You are not required to comment when\u2062 you \u200bsee a photo of someone who looks\u200b like this on the internet. \u200c(If everyone\u200b would \u200cjust follow resolution #1, that would help some with #3.) You do not \u2062have to pretend\u200c something like this post \u2063is the most amazing thing you\u2019ve ever seen. \u200cSo \u200bplease don\u2019t.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">So, those are my three resolutions for\u2064 women. Near-naked posts, crying \u2062in your car, lying \u2062to each\u2063 other \u2014\u00a0none of these\u200d are requirements. No one is \u200casking you\u2062 to do this, so let\u2019s stop. Let\u2019s button it up. Let\u2019s be honest. I think if all just met\u200b these goals,<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  that<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  would be stunning and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">that<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">  would be brave.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here\u2019s to 2024. Let\u2019s give it our best\u200d shot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <\/p>\n<h2> \u200c In what ways can women on the internet prioritize honesty and \u2063integrity\u2063 in their online interactions?<\/h2>\n<p><span>  Unham once said, &#8220;Honesty is more than not\u2064 lying. It is truth-telling, truth-speaking, truth-living, and truth-loving.&#8221;\u2062 In\u2064 a world inundated with \u200bfalse information and deception, it \u2064is crucial \u200cfor women on the internet to embody \u200cthis principle of honesty.<\/p>\n<p>Too often, we \u2063witness the spread of misinformation\u2062 and \u2064the perpetuation of falsehoods on\u200d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/the-new-acting-attorney-general-jeff-rosen-recently-wrote-an-essay-on-foreign-influence-in-us-elections-this-tells-us-a-little-about-his-knowledge-of-whats-going-on-today\/\" title=\"The New Acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen Recently Wrote an Essay on Foreign Influence in US Elections \u2013 This Tells Us A Little About His Knowledge of What\u2019s Going On Today\">social media platforms<\/a>. Whether it be \u2064through <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/fact-check-does-this-video-show-knoxvilles-sunsphere-on-fire\/\" title=\"FACT CHECK: Does This Video Show Knoxville\u2019s Sunsphere On Fire?\">viral rumors<\/a>, fake \u200bnews, or embellished stories, the internet \u2062has become a\u2062 breeding ground for\u200b dishonesty. This not only erodes trust but also hinders meaningful and productive conversations.<\/p>\n<p>It is \u200btime for women on \u200cthe \u200dinternet\u200c to take a stand against this culture of deceit. Let \u2063us \u2064vow \u2064to prioritize truth and integrity in our\u200d online interactions. Instead of\u2063 sharing blindly, let us fact-check and verify information before disseminating it \u200dto our followers. Let us be responsible \u2062digital citizens who promote accuracy and reliability.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, let us steer clear\u2064 of personal dishonesty. It is essential that we\u2063 are authentic and genuine in our online presence. This means resisting\u2062 the temptation\u200c to create and maintain \u2062a false image of ourselves or our \u200dlives. Let us embrace vulnerability \u2062and share our true experiences, triumphs, and\u200d struggles. By refraining\u2063 from posting near-naked pictures, avoiding trauma dumping,\u2063 and ceasing to spread \u2064lies, we can foster a more authentic and trustworthy online community.
