This showdown, which took place in \u2062Des Moines, Iowa, was the last \u2063before the GOP&#8217;s \u200dhighly anticipated nominating contest next week.<\/p>\n<p>Right from the start, former U.N. Ambassador Nikki\u200d Haley made a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/suspect-in-georgia-mass-shooting-killed-in-shootout-with-authorities\/\" title=\"Georgia mass shooting suspect killed in shootout with authorities.\">bold \u200bmove<\/a> by unveiling her new \u2064website, &#8220;DeSantisLies.com.&#8221; Throughout the first\u2062 hour of the\u200c debate, she \u200drepeatedly referenced \u200dthis website, ensuring it remained at the forefront \u200cof everyone&#8217;s minds.<\/p>\n<p>Injecting some humor into the\u200d intense atmosphere, \u200dHaley warned the\u2062 audience at Drake University,\u200b &#8220;Don&#8217;t turn this into a drinking game every time he \u2064lies, or you&#8217;ll be over-served by\u200d the end of the night!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Not one\u200b to back down, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida (R-FL) urged the audience to visit \u200chis own website,\u200c RonDeSantis.com, where they \u2063could find a video exposing what he claimed were Haley&#8217;s own lies.<\/p>\n<p>Leading\u200d up to the debate, both campaigns\u2063 had already revealed their\u2062 strategies, showcasing \u200bcompilation videos \u2064of their opponent&#8217;s past statements. DeSantis&#8217;s campaign\u200b confidently declared, &#8220;When DeSantis holds her accountable for caving \u200bto the media and the left,\u200b Haley will lie to Iowa voters and claim she &#8216;never said \u200bthat.&#8217; As DeSantis said, &#8216;Nikki Haley wants\u2063 you to believe her over \u200dyour own lyin&#8217; eyes.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Not to be\u200b outdone, Haley \u2063fired back, accusing DeSantis of &#8220;lying because he&#8217;s losing&#8221; and running a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bloomberg-fires-dozens-of-journalists-after-wasting-1-billion-on-failed-vanity-campaign\/\" title=\"Bloomberg Fires Dozens of Journalists After Wasting  Billion on Failed Vanity Campaign\">failed campaign<\/a>.
