Capitol kerfuffle,\u2064 President Biden asked the public, \u200d\u201cIs democracy still America\u2019s\u200b sacred cause?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s ironic, considering this question came moments after Biden went\u2064 on about the sacrifices made \u2062by Gen. George Washington and the Continental Army, comparing \u200dhimself to the nation\u2019s first president and his Republican predecessor, former President Donald Trump, to a corrupt, \u200dpower-obsessed\u200c King George III.<\/p>\n<p>Set \u2064aside the heresy of our devout Catholic leader, the \u200bsimple fact of \u200bthe matter is that &#8220;democracy&#8221; never was, and still isn&#8217;t, &#8220;our sacred cause.&#8221; Of course, one could wax poetic about apples of gold and frames \u200bof\u200d silver to \u200dtry to discern what &#8220;our sacred cause&#8221; \u200cmight be, but that\u2019s neither here nor there. The reality is that expansive appeals to\u2063 national democracy\u2062 have been\u200d made\u200b for decades \u2062to undermine local\u2062 authority and consolidate power in an unaccountable bureaucratic managerial apparatus.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2064 bastardized quasi-democracy in which we currently find ourselves is the result of this. Sure, there are <em>technically<\/em> different branches of government that <em>technically<\/em> perform different \u2063functions, \u2063but at the federal level, the only thing that actually <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/britney-spears-father-speaks-out-for-first-time-since-singers-conservatorship-ended\/\" title=\"Britney Spears\u2019 Father Speaks Out For First Time Since Singer\u2019s Conservatorship Ended\">makes things happen<\/a> is the bureaucracy. So now, the nation lives\u2063 and dies at the outcome of a vote because the results determine just how much\u200c power will be relegated to the administrative \u2062apparatus and with how much impunity \u2064it will be allowed to operate.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately,\u200b Democrats\u2019 &#8220;sacred cause&#8221; is \u200bnothing less \u200bthan their complete\u2063 consolidation \u200dof institutional power.<\/p>\n<p>This\u2063 is, in large part,\u200b why <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/bloomberg-biden-sets-new-record-taking-dark-money-donations\/\" title=\"Bloomberg: Biden sets new record taking dark money donations\">political messaging<\/a> has become so manic over the last decade \u200band why stooges like Aaron Rupar \u200buncritically amplified Biden\u2019s faux-patriotic and onanistic attacks on Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the attack on Jan. 6 happened, there was no doubt about \u2062the truth. At the time, even \u200dRepublican members of Congress and Fox News commentators publicly and privately condemned the attack. \u2026 Now those same people have changed their tune. \u2026 We\u2019ll defend the truth,\u201d an unusually lively, potentially stimulant-fueled Biden proclaimed while\u2063 pledging to defend democracy.<\/p>\n<p>It just so happens that effectively everything\u200d the public was told about \u200dJan. 6 \u2014 much \u200clike the Russia\u200b hoax, the Hunter Biden\u2062 laptop, and Biden\u2019s \u200dinvolvement with his family\u2019s overseas \u200dbusiness dealings \u2014 was a lie parroted by tattletale accomplice media outlets like MSNBC and CNN. Dissent online to any of the regime\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/when-motive-matters-and-when-it-doesnt\/\" title=\"When Motive Matters\u2014And When It Doesn\u2019t\">preferred narratives<\/a> regarding\u200b the above was summarily crushed by the fascistic joint efforts of Big Tech\u200d and the administrative\u200d apparatus.\u200c It\u2062 wasn\u2019t until \u2063Elon \u200bMusk acquired Twitter that Americans could once more speak somewhat freely about this en masse.<\/p>\n<p>Ignore\u200b how \u200dthe intelligence apparatus\u2064 <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/09\/cia-solicited-signatures-for-hunter-biden-laptop-letter-congressional-testimony-shows\/\">worked to discredit<\/a> the Hunter\u2062 Biden laptop\u2062 story and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/05\/15\/heres-everything-the-fbi-deliberately-ignored-to-get-trump-in-russian-collusion-hoax-according-to-durham\/\">deliberately undermined<\/a> \u2064Trump with bogus intel in the Russia-collusion conspiracy theory. Don\u2019t worry about the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/01\/10\/americas-justice-system-says-jan-6-was-neither-a-terrorist-attack-nor-an-insurrection\/\">disproportionate<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2024\/01\/08\/elise-stefanik-gives-master-class-on-refuting-democrats-insurrection-lies\/\">dishonest<\/a> response to Jan. 6. If you\u2019re\u200c concerned about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/pope-francis-meets-with-indian-prime-minister-narendra-modi\/\" title=\"Pope Francis Meets with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi\">administrative apparatus<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2023\/02\/03\/by-exposing-hamilton-68-the-twitter-files-proved-the-deep-state-is-a-weapon-aimed-directly-at-you\/\">conspiring<\/a> with Big Tech to suppress information, go touch grass.<\/p>\n<p>What matters is \u2064&#8221;democracy.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The \u2063left\u2019s constant\u200d subversion and erosion of democratic norms don\u2019t \u2062matter. Interestingly, he\u200d compared himself to the nation&#8217;s first \u2063president while likening his Republican predecessor, Donald Trump, to\u2064 a corrupt and power-obsessed King \u2064George \u200dIII.<\/p>\n<p>Putting aside any controversies surrounding our\u200c devout Catholic leader, the truth \u200bremains that &#8220;democracy&#8221; has never been and still isn&#8217;t\u2063 &#8220;our sacred cause.&#8221; One could indulge in poetic\u200d analogies about &#8220;apples of\u200b gold and frames of silver&#8221; \u200bto speculate on what our sacred cause might be, but that would be beside the point. The reality is that the constant calls for\u200b national democracy over the years have aimed to undermine local authority and consolidate power in an unaccountable\u2062 bureaucratic managerial \u2062apparatus.<\/p>\n<p>The \u200bresult of this process is the\u200b bastardized quasi-democracy that we currently find ourselves in. While there may be technically\u2062 different \u2064branches of government performing different functions,\u200d at the\u2064 federal level, the bureaucracy \u200dholds the true power. Our \u2064nation&#8217;s \u2063fate now rests on the outcome of \u2063elections, as\u2062 the results \u200cdetermine how much \u2064power will be given to the administrative apparatus and how freely \u2063it can operate.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, for the Democrats,\u2064 their &#8220;sacred cause&#8221; is nothing less than the complete consolidation of \u200binstitutional\u200d power. \u200bThis explains \u2064the \u200dincreasingly manic political messaging of the past\u2062 decade and the uncritical amplification \u200cof President Biden&#8217;s\u2064 attacks on Fox News by individuals\u200c like Aaron Rupar.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;When the attack on January 6 happened, there was no doubt \u200babout the truth. Even Republican members of Congress and Fox News commentators publicly and \u2063privately condemned the attack at the \u200btime. But now, \u2064those same people have changed their\u200b tune.\u2063 We will defend the truth,&#8221; a notably energetic President Biden declared \u200bwhile pledging to defend democracy.<\/p>\n<p>Coincidentally, almost everything the public was told \u200dabout January 6 \u2013 \u2062much \u200blike the Russia \u200dhoax, the Hunter Biden laptop, and Biden&#8217;s involvement\u2062 with his family&#8217;s\u2064 overseas business dealings \u2063\u2013 turned out to\u200b be falsehoods propagated by complicit\u2062 media outlets such\u2064 as MSNBC \u200band\u200d CNN. Dissent against the \u2063regime&#8217;s \u2063preferred narratives online is\u200c met with censorship \u2064and suppression.<\/p>\n<p>The question posed by President\u2062 Biden deserves reflection. Is democracy still America&#8217;s \u2064sacred cause?\u2064 Perhaps it is time\u200b for a\u200c reevaluation of our values and an assessment of the true nature\u2062 of power in our \u200csociety.
