Stefanik refused\u200d to\u200d offer a blind commitment.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2-long d-flex justify-content-center\" style=\"margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center; \" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-493123482\">\n<div id=\"div-gpt-ad-1379703300879-0\" class=\"mb-30\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-35fc3ee553c61ee1f18ff66c39d5c4bc fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-2\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-35fc3ee553c61ee1f18ff66c39d5c4bc\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cWe \u200dwill see if this is a legal and valid election,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The\u2062 comment came after the New York lawmaker defended \u200cher \u2064objections to electoral certification in\u200d 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI stood up for election integrity, and I challenged and objected to the certification of the state of Pennsylvania because of the unconstitutional overreach,\u201d Stefanik said. \u201cI absolutely stand by my floor speech. \u200cI am proud \u200cto support President\u2064 Trump.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Astonished that the Republican leader in the lower \u200dchamber would\u200b refuse to give \u2062Democrats\u200d a blanket pledge to certify a rigged election, the interview generated hysterical headlines across the corporate press.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2bd349f820a72845437f5ba184223b19 fdrlst__b89e9-paragraph-6\" id=\"fdrlst__b89e9-2bd349f820a72845437f5ba184223b19\"><\/div>\n<p>\u201cGOP Rep. The same questions, meanwhile, have remained virtually\u200d non-existent for Democrats after \u2064objecting to election results in 2001, 2005, and 2017. In fact, Democrats haven\u2019t lost an election that \u200bthey\u2063 haven\u2019t protested certification \u200dof since 1988. Democrats even objected to more states \u2064in 2017 than Republicans did in 2021. \u200dAnd yet Stefanik is controversial for refusing to certify \u2064an election if it isn\u2019t properly conducted. The Supreme \u2064Court will now decide whether states can keep Trump\u2019s name absent from the \u2063voting booth. Considering how the 2020 contest was rigged by manipulation\u200b of pandemic \u200dvoting rules and \u2064Silicon Valley electioneering, voting for the former Republican\u200d president in 2016 may have been the last time \u2064Americans cast a vote in a genuinely <em>free and fair<\/em> presidential election. In her interview with\u2064 ABC \u2063News Sunday, \u2064former House \u2064Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked about eliminating the Republican frontrunner as a \u2063legitimate candidate. Elections, Pelosi said, \u201care up to the states.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have \u2064different laws from state to state.
